What is the coat made out of? Is it polyester?

It is Viscos, Nylon and Polyester. It has a very nice feel to it, soft but yet it has great body to it, meaning it is not flimsy at all.

Is this more for looks or is it actually comfortable? I have a coat like this but it is thin and felt like material. Not comfortable and not warm.

It is more a heavy sweater than a coat as far as the material and warmth. It is very comfortable. I wear it as a light coat. I do love it.

What country does this ship from if I need to return for a different size?

USA I think, because I returned my first one for a different color with not a problem at all, and received my second one very quickly.
