Klutz Mini Clay World Puppy Treat Truck: 1

So initially I cursed the puppy treat truck with its fiddly pop out cardboard truck and hard to replicate dogs, but then I gave it to my daughter who completely ignored me and completed the whole thing and all the dogs during a rainy afternoon stuck indoors. So now I love it. It is extremely cute, it has actually stood up to being played with repeatedly, even after the dogs and treats have been made so actually has represented real value for money. I think this is best suited to kids over 8, but saying that my 6 year old had a good try at making a ‘hot’ dog that actually vaguely resembled a dog so younger kids could also really enjoy doing it.

Bought as a gift for a dog loving 9 year old girl. She loved it and it has given her hours of fun making the puppies and accessories and playing with the set.

Not too difficult to make these and the end results are so so cute! However, the amount of clays is quite small so you have to make them quite tiny, which is not so easy for large fingers!

This was a christmas present for my 7 year old daughter. She loves all crafts and we've really enjoyed making this together. The truck is cardboard and was pretty easy for my daughter to assemble with a little help. It includes a few small packs of clay and instructions for making dogs, food and other things. At first I thought the amount of clay was quite small but we actually managed to make quite a few things. And because it's oven bake clay we were able to leave it on the table for a few days and go back to it without it all drying out. A big hit with my daughter.

Had great fun making these with my daughter. Easy to use instructions and great booklet comes with it for ideas. Really good ‘how to’ sections and ideas inside. Really nice gift.

My nine year old granddaughter received this as a birthday present. She loves it, since she is very creative and loves to craft.

This is a really lovely set, however the amount of clay that comes with it, just isn’t enough to make all the pups and treats. Shame otherwise I would of rated it five starts.

Fantastic gift for 8+. My daughter loved being able to make her own toys and then play with them in the truck, kept her entertained for hours and she still plays with all the pieces. The clay was easy to use, a little sticky on a hot day but we made so many at once that there wasn’t much left!

Lots of people are saying that it gives you hardly any clay. I was pretty shocked at the small size, but I realized that you are supposed to use really small amounts for the food and puppies. The book has ‘size guides’ which show the exact amount of clay to use for the head, the body, the ears, etc. The type of clay is polymer clay, which is the type of clay that you bake in ovens. It only takes about twenty minutes which is really nice. The instructions are really clear and I think it is worth the money.
