Using Vanicream products exclusively nowadays! It seems to be really good for my hyper-sensative skin, but this shaving cream is my favorite. It smells so good!!! The scent doesn't last long, but it's so pleasant that it makes me look forward to shaving in the morning. Only need a small dab of it and it is excellent for helping the razor glide across my face! Best product in their line that I have used.

Very gentle, foams thin on the skin, but still lubricates. The smell is very interesting and proof of the product not including ingredients which could be irritants, but in some ways the "oat" fragrance is part of the experience i would have expected instead of what this shave cream smells like. Good format for travel too.

Maybe it should be 5 stars. But the "fragrance" is on the very mild side of being somewhat annoying. This does not lather as more traditional shaving creams that include fillers to give you that "lathery" look without doing much for your skin. This is more like a traditional soap used in shaving cream. This is the 3rd item from Vanicream that I can highly recommend. As always, spot check with your skin to check for any reactions. EWG also gives there products their highest rating of "1" No, I am not paid. I simply tried the products. I use other products such as from the Japanese 3-step skin care routine. And include Korean skin care products. I am happy to see that someone in America - Vanicream - is or has caught up. I tried other Western products - you know the names. I can not recommend them. Some so-called skin-care products have ingredients that help while also having ingredients that do the opposite. Some may work for others, but not for me. That is where the EWG website comes in when rating products for skin care. Vanicream is among the best rated. Vanicream works and my skin is better for it. Recommended. Recommended.

This is the best shaving cream product I've ever used overall. Please don't alter the formula in any way. First the PROS: it doesn't take a lot to fully cover your face; this cream stays on and stays moist while you shave so you don't have to touch-up with more cream as you go along; I experience less nicks, cuts and shave burns using this product;; the skin feels normal afterwards; no rash and the seborrheic dermatitis symptoms I normally experience in my beard have been decreased thus far; the caveat to the last point is that I started using this product in April which is when I have less of these symptoms relative to the winter. The CONS: the product does not smell good--it actually smells a little on the bad side but it is very tolerable considering it works well (the last thing I want is for them to add a perfume which will cause irritation). It smells like corn flakes or something along those lines but only stronger. The other con is that there is very little product in each container; as mentioned before not that much product is needed to get a good shave; considering the price of this product they should be able to include more cream in a larger container as I don't think they are that hard pressed for cash that they need to sell way more of these things to keep it going.. In conclusion, I definitely recommend this product but the company should include at least 50% more product. Please don't change the formula for this and provide more than 50% more product (ideally 100% more) so we don't feel like we are getting ripped off each time a bottle runs out.

Finally a shaving cream that my face can tolerate. I have eczema and this is really safe for me. It has a nutty smell which doesn’t linger. It’s not scented though.

Pluses: The cream keeps your face moist and allows a good close shave. Minuses: Kind of expensive compared to canned foam shaving cream. Lasts a small fraction of the number of shaves I got from the canned products. The opening in the tube is kind of small, and it can be kind of a pain to squeeze the cream out. I'm about half way done with the tube, and I can see that I'll probably end up throwing cream away that I couldn't get out of the tube. I'll try to find a product in a jar the next time. Non of these "unscented" products are truly odorless. This one has a vague industrial chemical smell to it. It would be tolerable if there were no container issues. All things considered, I won't be buying it again.

Was hesitant at first but wow - first time I haven't had razor burn!

Vanicream earned at least one star for not having all the known "bad" ingredients; however, as a functional shaving cream product - I didn't like it at all; I found myself mixing it with regular shave cream that did have the "bad" ingredients so I could have the texture I needed to feel comfortable shaving my head and face. Vanicream did not lather well for me. I used the whole 6 oz. to give my test of this product a fair chance, but I will never order it again.

No irrita, no reseca y deja mi piel super suave, es el mejor, sin embargo no es el más barato.

Ik heb last van een overgevoelige huid (zenuwbanen?) waardoor mijn ogen gaan tranen. Diverse soorten scheerzepen roepen allen hetzelfde fenomeen op van overmatig traanvocht. Oogdruppelen op aanwijzing van oogarts deed dat niet minderen maar in sommige gevalllen verergeren. Dan deze scheercreme geprobeerd zonder toevoegingen. Helaas zelfde reactie. Scheren met alleen water zonder zeep of cremes is de enige oplossing.

Have been trying to find a shaving product that does not leave a burning sensation, or excessive dryness for years. This is great. You don't need much to get a very good shave, no scrapping of skin needed. Would recommend shavers combine with a single safety blade or double blade razor for best results. Will buy again once the current tube is done.

My husband and I both use this. It leaves our skin soft and smooth. No harsh fragrance.
