This means that it won't clog pores or cause acne. However, Shea butter can make your skin oily if you use too much of it at once. It also tends to absorb moisture from the air and turn greasy. Because of this, you should avoid using it on the face **Q: Could this be worn just by itself? or does it have to be with foundation?** A: It could be yes but I mix it with my med color foundation, I put it on last over top of it. Many have been disappointing, but this one has far exceeded my expectations. I use trentinoin cream at night and in morning I use a vitamin C serum, then this Lumi lotion, then tart blur concealer, then tart powder foundation. This combination is a winner! I love how the lumi lotion moisturizes, gives a really great glow, and provides a great base for make-up. The moisture and glow last all day. It’s not sticky either and feels great! I’m also about to try urban decay all nighter finishing spray to help the tart blur concealer last a little bit longer, but the tart does last a good amount of time.
