They are still a little large, but they are for 0 - 6 months so that is to be expected. I like that I can tie them really tight and they don't fall off. I loved these so much I purchased them in white too! I may not have read the description well because I did not realize the white ones are faux leather and not the faux suede like the gray ones. I bought them for my 9 month old, who isn't walking, so I really just needed something that would cover his feet in the colder weather and actually stay on. These are perfect. the laces allow to tighten the shoe somewhat and they are wide enough that getting them on a foot that doesn't really work with you isn't challenging at all. And the best part, they stay on.
