Fake Travel Decoy Wallet with 6 Realistic Fake Credit Cards - Pickpocket Safety

I purchased this set for my dad when he had to move into memory care and could not have any cash/credit cards on him due to his vulnerability. I knew simply removing his credit cards and leaving the empty slots in his wallet would be upsetting to him, so I replaced his real card with these decoys so that the look and feel of the wallet in his pocket would remain unchanged. It did the trick perfectly and he can continue to carry his wallet in his pocket without risk.

Wallet is good: solid construction. The fake credit cards are good. What dissapoints me somewhat is that some of the "6 realistic fake credit cards" are fake cardboard business cards.

Looks Real

The wallet did not include 6 realistic fake credit cards as described. It had only two credit cards which were mostly passable at first look. The issue is that they decided to include the EMV chip imagery but didn't actually simply put a fake EMV chip in. This greatly destroys the illusion! The hotel card felt like the real thing but it did not have something that looked like the magnetic strip on the back. A gift voucher card was supplied. The normal detail writing found on the back could have been included, but wasn't. The leather wallet was overly large and overly cheap construction, but I wasn't intending on using the wallet at all. I just needed the cards to add to an existing wallet. The business cards are a nice touch. It would have been nice to have more fake credit cards as described. The gym membership card was missing. This was a plus because the pictured gym membership card wouldn't have fooled most people.

Received the Decoy Wallet and I am a lot more impressed with it after seeing it in person. After following the instructions on how to utilize the wallet and make it as authentic as possible, Im sure that if I’m in a bad situation such as a mugging or if I’m pick pocketed, this will work as a diversion so I can get away safely and won’t loose my credit cards or ID or have my identity stolen. The wallet is a black leather and the cards are very real looking. I added a hand written grocery list and an old receipt along with some small bills and it looks and feels great. Certainly using this when I travel abroad but also through downtown where I live.

i would prefer to see an option to add an id but we purchased a prop id from Leon the Leo and will cover the picture with a generic reciept. suggestion. add option for an id with a generic man or woman photo that can be covered with a generic reciept that can add to the authenticity. the name can match the gender less name on the cards. well done. when i was robbed at gunpoint the thief didn't want to shoot us he wanted our belongings. we threw them behind him then ran in the opposite direction. the fake will fool the thief long enough to get away. we will put some sacrificial cash in it. not worth putting fake money in just around 15 in ones and a flip phone. that way they get something. they tend to throw cards away and id anyways.

Pretty good to fool a robber at a glance. I think it should have more cards.

As someone who travels a lot and has been robbed before, this was a no brained for me. Some areas I go to are not the best of areas this will be with me for those just in case scenarios. The wallet is great quality and the cards are perfect. I really don’t think someone robbing you will be looking that closely at the cards inside they will be too busy trying to get away. I am so happy with this product I am actually going to buy another for my son who is currently at Florida State just in case he ever runs into a situation that he may need to use. I hope to. Ever need it but will be glad I have it if I do.
