This is by far the best calcium bentonite clay I have tried. I have tried other Indian healing clays and they do not even compare to this one. Also, this clay is approved by the FDA for internal use so it is safe to drink for internal detox. Says so right on the jar!! I would highly recommend this brand!

Not all Bentonite Clay is the same
Not all Bentonite Clay is the same.I almost made the mistake of using Sodium Bentonite Clay for internal use, but I found this product instead. Calcium Bentonite Clay is more effective and safer to ingest. Sodium Bentonite Clay should be used for external use only (Please research this if you are considering using any Bentonite Clay products).This particular product- Great American Clay is FDA approved, and the company stands by their product. Highly recommended.

I love it
All I can say is I'm in love. Since I have been using this for a detox, I have shed 10 pounds. My skin looks better. I will buy more in the future.

I was born early and ended up javing a week immune system. i would get shots and end up with rashes. I would take antibiotics and get sicker before I was better. When I got older, amd started research i realized why i was sick all the time. i decided to detox and i did that with bentonite clay and other herbs. the place i was getting edible clay from went out of business, but i hadnt been sick in forever. finally i had some health issues that needed my attention. i go on the hunt for edible bentonite and this amazing stuff appears. it taste different, but im pretty sure its a better grade and definitely more powdery. my health issues have improved drastically. you must drink a ton of water, but we should be doing that anyway! definitely a great buy

I don't like it going into my drain pipes
Used to to clean my hair. Afterwards, my hair was curlier and the ends weren't dry. Didn't seem to hurt my dye job. But, I don't like it going into my drain pipes. I read it can hurt septic systems, so I think I'll rinse it outdoors from now on.

This is a fine clay and it works quite nicely without drying the skin overly much.

Awesome stuff!
I originally bought this for my dog to do a detox when he had a bad reaction to a rabies vaccine, but decided to try it myself. Can't believe what a noticeable difference it made to my digestive issues!
