NO. Talked with Rainforest a few  months ago. The issue was waiting for the manufacture of the device to ramp up production. Just received an e-mail last from a Rainforest the the 200 is back stock again at Amazon.

can this device be setup to send out email or text alerts when electricity usage goes over a configurable threshold?

Yes, you can set up the EAGLE-200 to stream data to Stringify, which will allow you to set up a script to send you emails or texts based on the data.

I already have a Eagle-100.  Is this just a Eagle-100 with the addition of wifi?

Thanks for using our EAGLE product!  The new EAGLE-200 performs the same functions as the original EAGLE, with the addition of 2 more radios.  One is a WiFi radio that allows to connect wirelessly to your LAN.  The other is a Zigbee Coordinator that will allow you to create a Zigbee control network in your home.  The control features will be rolled out early in 2018 as a software update.

What is the best app to use with this?  i used to use bidgely, it was great.  now what should i use?

Rainforest provides a free, web-based user portal that runs on your mobile browser.  We also have a number of cloud partners that provide their own apps to display the data provided by the EAGLE-200.
