Cinemaps: An Atlas of 35 Great Movies

My twin brother recieved this book for his birthday from a friend and I was a bit jealous, so I bought one for myself, lol! It's so cool!!! I love the illustrations and the text also depicts the worlds of these films so well! I have this book displayed on my bookshelf for our guests to look over since they also love the classic movies that are highlighted.

This is where great material and responsive customer service go a long way. I ordered a copy of this for our son; it arrived with the front apparently mishandling during shipment. The seller quickly sent a replacement--no shipping problem, but this copy's spine was damaged, with one end sporting a hanging chad. While still not as I'd like, I was able to effect the repairs to make it giveable. My son will be blown away by the contents, so I anticipate the repaired condition won't make as much of an impression on the recipient as on the giver. Customer Service-3 stars (averaged). Quickly responsive, but odd that the replacement copy was damaged, too. Content-7 stars. Fascinating material at a remarkably good price. Hope this review helps. Enjoy this book!

Nice gift for movie fanatics

A lot of fun looking at Andrew DeGraff's art retracing the steps of the characters through great films in cinema history. To get an idea of what he does check out DeGraff's art on his website before purchasing. It's a great coffee table book.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my partner after we once poured over it together in a bookstore. The art is fantastic, and the writing is fun, too. Some complaints regarding the tinyness of the images are valid, but part of the fun is picking out the tiniest details (e.g. Luke Skywalker's decapitated hand) by scrutinizing every inch of each print. Saw another review critiquing a lack of numbered locations. All I can say is, well... if you know the movies you don't need a legend—so there! This is a beautiful book, and I highly recommend it—hoping to get another copy for myself soon. :)

No this isn't a map to the homes of movie stars that are peddled to tourist visiting LA but rather a series of maps covering 35 of the best and most popular movies of all times.

Excellent. Livre original et superbement illustré. Un must pour les geeks. Que en anglais par contre, fommage qu’il n’y ait pas de traduction.

This book is really cool. I can't even begin to imagine how long it takes the artist to figure out the maps for each movie. It's really neat to look at, and even to use as a companion when re-watching a favourite film.
