TLDR; BUY THIS FAN Let me tell you something about this fan, it's a life saver, to the point where I've told people "If you see me without it, that's an emergency and a cry for help!" As a person who has a horrid time regulating their temperature due to meds and chronic illness plus a little dash of perimenopause... I never leave home without this fan. I was initially a little worried because many of the reviews mentioned it breaking but honestly I've put mine through so much and it's JUST now breaking. I loved that it came with its own little bag but I lost that along the way somewhere and the fan just kind of ends up in my bag however it can, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. That being said, it has only detached at the very end part on one side (I'm sure I could actually glue it back on, tbh- and I will to have it as a back up) and then I've lost one of the "spokes" from the middle (ish). Other than that, she works like a charm! I bought mine in June of 2024, and between everything mentioned above, plus using it at the height of summer in the NYC subways? This thing is perfection. It's very lightweight, i mean- your arm will get tired eventually but that's expected with anything involving a repetitive motion. I chose all black for mine, as it goes with everything! It fits in just about every type of bag you can imagine, and I've even stuck it in my back pocket (and sat on it because I forgot) and she's still going. You cannot beat a $10 price point for something that durable and helpful.

My daughter has difficulty regulating her temperature, but she hated the idea of using a fan you had to recharge - just in case it ran out of battery when you need it most. This is perfect! It fits in her purse nicely and she loves that it comes with a carrying case! She also loves how feminine it is and how it matches her style and color of outfits perfectly. PROS: * Comes with it's own carrying case so you don't have to worry about it snagging on other items. * Sturdy! She uses this ALL THE TIME and it has been months and still going strong. * No charge needed! You don't have to worry about not being able to cool yourself when needed because this uses elbow grease for power. :) * Because it is not electric, there is no annoying sound! Just the "whisp, whisp, whisp" of the fan as it moves. * She has also used this as a shade for her eyes when the sun is too bright (instead of her hand). People have commented what a great idea and use of the fan! CONS: * If you are using it constantly, your arm will get tired. This would not be the best for prolonged periods of time.

Hello. This is a nice fan for use to keep yourself cool on sunny days and in areas where there is a lack of air circulation.. When I started online shopping a few years ago I went online to Amazon looking for folding fans for men, and after finding some 12 inch long by slightly longer when fully opened, I noticed 2 things: firstly while some were advertised as being made of fabric, a number of them were actually made of hard paper, which could tear when wet, so I didn't like that. Secondly, the tines were spaced to allow for gripping, but that courtesy was more of a curse, for many Amazon customers complained that while those fans were easy to open, they were hard to close. I concluded that this is because the tines are spaced, which reduces stability during use and closure. This led to searching for folding fans for women. These fans, sold by OMyTea, Amajiji, and Thought, though smaller, were actually more stable, because there the tines nearly overlap each other at the base of the fan. There are virtually no gaps. So I purchased these fans. I chose more black/ white monochromatic and greyscale colours, since colour fashion was not my foremost preference. These fans are durable enough for moderately strong whips of the fan, yet is not to be expected as use for a weapon, despite what we see in cinema and animation. Amazon sells metallic fans used in the Japanese martial art of tessenjutsu, "iron fan technique", and these fans are not those. If the trimming at the edge of the fan begins to separate, super glue may help - be careful when using the glue. Let's not glue the fan together fully closed, so let the fan dry while fully opened. Before I go, if any of you tend to get a little warm in the restroom, while "relaxing", these fans have given me a gentle breeze, keeping me cool and comfortable while I "go". Something to think about.

Perfectly sized fan that can kick up a fair breeze. It lost a star because it doesn't close smoothly and I have to manually re-fold the fabric in at least a couple places every time, and also because the tassel is the saddest thing and fell apart on Day 1 (but I honestly didn't care). I haven't used it much yet so I can't speak on the longevity of the fan itself, but you get what you pay for and for a cheap fan it's useable.

I liked my purchase so much that I bought another one! Perfect for a night out in hot humid weather!

These were purchased as a gift for a loved-one who likes the design and functionality very much. I can, and will recommend this product.

Buy 3.... Give one to your significant other, keep one in your pocket. Keep one in a spare drawer when requested.

I was looking for a fan small enough to keep in my carry-on side-pocket (or similar), but still actually usable for cooling my often overheated head. This one is indeed small enough but is only a decorative fan, not really a functional one. There's a couple of problems. It's a little smaller than I imagined (product picture is with a very small hand). But mostly it's loose and non-locking. So when you open it, you have to brace your hand to keep it open- and you're bracing against a section that's not solid (ribs alternate with space). The combination is awkward to hold and tiring before long. Not cool. If you've ever been through tropical country customs after walking across a hot tarmac, you know you wished for a hand fan)- it can make a big difference to be able to generate a breeze if you're prone to running hot- an astonishing number of such places don't have much airflow during travel hours, despite the hordes of perspiring visitors. Maybe this fan is suitable for dance, theater, flirting, etc- but that wasn't what I was looking for. I'm going to keep looking.

While the construction of the actual fan is good for its price and lasted me my holiday, the tassel is very poorly tied on and fell apart into a mess of string within a week of active use.

Der Druck hat eine gute Qualität. Der Stoff ist dünn, aber trotzdem stabil. Nach langer Nutzung ist er immernoch stabil und fällt nicht auseinander. Alles in allem ein guter Fächer, für eine schnelle kühlung im Sommer.

Je suis allé à un mariage en fin de semaine. J'ai acheté cet éventail pour l'événement, il s'assemblait bien avec ma tenue et mes accessoires. Il faisait très chaud. Malheureusement, après à peine 2 heures, il y avait déjà 2 branches de brisées qui pendouillaient. Pas de qualité et très cher pour ce qu'il a offert. J'ai dû le jeter, car plus fonctionnel. Déçue, car j'ai un autre mariage dans 3 semaines et je dois m'en trouver un nouveau en espérant qu'il dure toute la soirée cette fois...
