My son loves it and had a great time the self control and remote options is great.I lost the charge but finally found the charging cable after about 1 year. So the battery was completely dead and wouldn’t hold a charge. No big deal, I ordered a replacement battery for 22 dollars, installed it, charged for a few hours and the truck was ready to go. This is great truck , definitely recommend it and the battery replacement is cheap.Oh the assembly part was easy and there is a video to see if needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the truck- initial one stopped working but company replaced with new truck *by C***. on September 26, 2023* Update: It took a little bit to get to the right people but once we did, the company worked with us and first sent us the new part (no additional cost) to try to fix our truck and then when that didn’t work, they sent us a new truck! It seemed like a long process but the company really seemed to care and made sure they took care of us once we got connected to the right people. We love the product, the truck works really well and it is nice to have a remote so we can control it until he is able to drive it on his own.Old: We ordered and got this truck on May 31st for our 3 year old. It is a mini version of Daddy’s truck and he absolutely loved it! However, just 2 months later it would no longer work. July 28th was the last time we were able to use it. It was rainy that day and got wet before we could put it away. We have tried charging it multiple times, but it has not worked since. Our 3 year old is so disappointed and kept asking to drive his truck. We took it to our local car repair shop to check the battery and they said the battery was fine but we need a new control module. We searched and couldn’t find a way to order one. We reached out to the customer support email from the book and they weren’t very helpful, just saying that part isn’t in, they are having trouble getting it stocked. My husband also called and talked to customer service of the company asking about the part or a replacement and he said there was nothing they could do because we bought it through Amazon, however, I can’t find where I can do anything about it through Amazon because it lasted longer then the 1 month return policy window. I am very upset and disappointed, I hesitated buying it to begin with because of the price $350 dollars, but looking at everything it looked like it would last our toddler a long time so I was willing to spend the money. ### ⭐ Pain in the behind! *by L***E on June 20, 2024* Once again I am writing a review on this truck. I rated it a one because I couldn’t go lower.I purchased this truck for my grandson‘s birthday. I Purposely bought it Two months early in case there was a problem with it, I would have time to fix the problem. His birthday Was yesterday August 18, And the truck is still not working. The problem is the battery. When we got the truck we charged it for 10 hours As instructed to do, After the 10 hours, we put the battery into the truck and it did not work. At the time I wrote my first review. (See below.). The Company agreed to give us our money back. They did Reimburse size $20. They never offered to replace the battery, and we tried to buy one from Amazon, we could not find one. I wanted to return the truck, but my daughter in law said it took her so long to assemble she didn’t want to disassemble it to send it back. After looking all over my son finally found a battery for the truck. He had to order it, and it was not here in time for my grandson‘s birthday. He couldn’t use the truck on his birthday. Beware, if you buy this toy truck they will not place the battery, and it is a pain in the behind to get one. I do not recommend!Company said they would give me a full refund on the price of the truck. Ended giving me $20 back. I guess what they really meant was refund for battery. That’s ok with me. Never expected a full refund on the truck, but don’t say something and not honor it. I think they should just send a better battery with the truck, as so many people have problems. If you buy this truck, have a spare battery ready so your little one isn’t disappointed when the original doesn’t work.UODATE: Company did end up contacting me. They gave me a refund for a new battery, and also offered to refund the full price of the truck. I would recommend this company. Great customer service.I decided to purchase this truck even after reading all the reviews that said so many people were having trouble with the battery. The reason I did purchase it is because a lot people said that the company had made it right. When the truck arrived my daughter in law charged the battery for 10 hours as required in the directions. Nothing! It did not work! I called Amazon, and they sent a request to the company asking them to replace the battery. Amazon told me if the company did not respond in 3 days to call Amazon back. The company never responded. They did not make it right. Amazon told me I could return the truck, but after it taking so long to assemble, and then charging it for 10 hours we were not about to un assemble it to return it. My son willBuy a new battery. Amazon was not at all at fault. They did give me a partial refund toward the purchase of a new battery. ## Frequently Bought Together - 12V Chevy Silverado Ride On Truck with HIGH Speed Mode (5 MPH) & Parent Remote Control, Kid's Battery Powered Licensed Electric Vehicle, LED Lights, Real Tailgate, & Truck Sounds, by ReadyGO - Red - tonhui Kids Ride-On Toy Car Cover, Outdoor Wrapper Resistant Protection for Electric Battery Powered Children Wheels Toy Vehicles - Universal Fit, Water Resistant --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/497295825-12v-chevy-silverado-ride-on-truck-with-high-speed-mode](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/497295825-12v-chevy-silverado-ride-on-truck-with-high-speed-mode) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
