but it's your basic cable like what you use to charge an Android phone
I first purchased the single pointer. It is rechargeable and has a red laser pointer, a bright flashlight, and a black light. The charger cable it came with was broken, but it's your basic cable like what you use to charge an Android phone, and I have plenty so I didn't mark down for that or ask for a replacement.I then bought the double pack, one for my daughter and sil. I was wondering why it was cheaper for two than for one. That's because they're not rechargeable and don't have a black light. They take a single AA battery, though, so I was glad of that, as I don't have any of those button ones (whatever they're called). I was a bit disappointed that they didn't at least have a black light, but obviously I didn't read all of the information well, so I guess that's on me.All three have the sliding button, so the light stays on until you turn it back off. And they all have the strap.

Great cheap light, very minor defect in mine
Would be 4.5 stars if possible. Cat loved it. Black light works fine. Battery life seems good so far, haven’t had to charge it since purchase (caveat, my cat only plays with it for a couple min at a time). Switch on laser is way better than push and hold down buttons I’ve had in past.Don’t know if it’s just mine or all are like this, but the light has 3 lenses on the end, one for each type of light. On mine, the seal must not be solid, because when I use the laser, I see a halo of red around the laser dot, which comes from the red light escaping through the flashlight lens. Also, when I use the flashlight, there’s a tiny dot of white light on the side, which comes from the white light escaping through the laser lens. Black light works totally fine, no leaking through other lenses, which is why I don’t think mine is working as intended and there is a defect between laser and flashlight. However, for the overall function and price of the device, I highly recommend and would buy again.

The cats and I love these
I foster for a cat rescue, plus I have cats of my own. I have gone through so many laser pointers over the years that it is ridiculous. The ones that use the button batteries are cheaper to buy a new pointer than to buy those stupid little batteries. An adopter told me about ones that use regular AA batteries, and also about ones that have a USB charger built in. I immediately went out and bought both kinds and LOVE them. The USB is nice at home because I keep on charging in my foster cat room and one in my family room, so that there is always one ready for the kitties. I keep one with the AA batteries and one of the USBs in my purse for when I visit cats at our adoption center or when I am meeting with adopters. If the batteries get low I can either recharge the USB in my car on the way, or I can pick up some AA batteries (much easier to get than the button batteries). I have recommended these to adopters.

4 Paws Up
You know your cat truly rules the house when you finally discover and immediately purchase a rechargeable laser! A laser with a dead battery is almost as bad as running out of cat food. This works great and no more buying batteries or a new laser every couple months! The black light is an added bonus fun for the humans!

Really deserves six stars
This is the best cat laser I have ever seen. It has a switch instead of a button, so your thumb doesn't get sore when you use it. It has a AA battery instead of the strange little batteries most lasers use, so replacing the battery is easy. It's larger than the standard laser, which makes it easier to point where you want. It even has a flashlight, so you can replace the little flashlight on your key ring and have a cat laser wherever you go!I liked this so much that I bought another ten for my local cat shelter.

This laser was perfect, as I can get him chasing after it ...
I got these for my dog. Because it gets dark so early this time of year, it's harder to get him exercised after work. This laser was perfect, as I can get him chasing after it for a long time. Not having to hold the button down definitely helps there. I was also impressed with how bright the flashlight was. Definitely recommend this product.

Crazy Cat Lady in Training
I have spent hours using this with my cats. You don't have to hold a button down to keep the light on which is good as my hands cramp easily. Great product!

2 pack - only one pen. Bedsides, battery cap and USB connector is stiff.
They say "2 pack". However, there was only one in the box. Whatever 2 pack means..Besides, the battery cap is stiff, and I could not open it. In addition, USB connector is stiff, and it is hard to plug in.
