Great design for a power plug in that it's simple and easy to solder the two pins. Positive and negative are clearly marked and I like that the cable can be arranged to go out either side. The only thing I've noticed with this design is over years of use the metal flair that keeps the pins snug can become pushed in toward the pole and as a result the pin can not make a connection. Simply bending the fins out again helps make a tighter connection but when un plugging they're bent back in again. Four stars but otherwise perfect.
