Fits in my vanity lights very well, the light is very nice, never have received a broken bulb. They don’t last very long, possibly about a year, but this kind of size is hard to find in the appliance stores.

Great bulbs

When the lights first arrived I was worried because of how it was packaged. 4 bulbs in one of those yellow padded envelopes. Seems like a very poor decision on the way to ship something so fragile. But to my delight all the bulbs work. Now onto the lights themselves. There have been some talk about if these bulbs are “instant on” or if there is a “warm up” to reach full brightness. I can tell you that there is a short warm up, something like 5 seconds. So while not completely instant on, the warm up time is very short. I will say that this bulbs are bright. The description says “1200 lumens” which matches the same lumens as other bulbs I have. However, the box says 1800 lumens so they are actually slightly brighter than my other bulbs. This wouldn’t be a problem if I was only using these bulbs in one area but they are mixed in with my older bulbs. So in my kitchen you can tell which are the new 1800 lumens bulbs and which are the old 1200 lumens bulbs. The color temperature (2700K) is a match but just noticeably brighter. For the price, this bulbs are a good value. I personally don’t like these 4 pin type bulb (G24/GX24) because the bulbs tend to be (relatively) expensive and they don’t last anywhere near as long as they claim (only got 3 years out of my previous bulbs). Lets see how close I get to the 11 year claim on these bulbs.

3/5 because of abnormal bend to pins preventing base from fully seating in socket. First, shame on Amazon for the terrible packaging. The shipping box was too large and flimsy and no packing paper or air cushions were used, so my package arrived crushed. One bulb survived. However, my rating is of the product only, not the terrible shipping. The product appears to be generally well constructed, but each of the 4 pins are bent. I checked the other damaged bulbs and all pins also have this bend - so it’s how it’s manufactured, not damage. Comparing with another similar bulb, the other bulb has straight pins. See photos. Appears to be a manufacturing defect as it causes problems. Read on. This abnormal bending of the pins resulted in difficulty getting the base fully seated into the socket. You typically hear a ‘click’ with these types of bulbs, but not with these particular bulbs. This leaves me concerned they’re not secure and they’ll drop out during an earthquake. The color match is pretty spot on - a tad cooler than the existing bulbs of a different brand but same temperature. No complaints here. See photos. Overall, I’m concerned this bulb would fall out of its socket due to the abnormal bend of the pins. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend.
