A complete Oakmoss/patchouli take over 😕

My 4th purchase of their Colour Me line. These are the notes stated from their official website at Milton Lloyd: [[An elegant rich modern fruity chypre fragrance. The dry down is a tenacious blend of oakmoss, amber and precious patchouli woods. The positive reviews swayed me to try it. This perfume smells just too patchouli. The patchouli over powers the floral notes. I have nothing against patchouli as long as their is a balance and harmony with the other notes. This patchouli over powers and is reading burned rubber!!!! Yet my spouse tells me I smell powdery. Like your most linear generic powdery smell you smell in beauty drugstore products. Yes the perfume lasts over 6 hours, but, this perfume is suited for someone in their 60s not a young teen ,20 something or 30something. WHAT A SHAME!!!! I will say what may smell bad on someone will smell good on you, so keep that in mind. After buying 4 Colour Me perfumes (the black, blue, neon pink and this purple one), I will not try the others. Sky Blue remains my favorite and I already have plans to repurchase it.
