This bag is expensive, so my wife and I weren't positive about whether we should buy it before our trip to Costa Rica this past July. Boy, am I glad we did! This was hands down our best purchase to prepare for our trip! It was worth every penny! While planning our trip, we discussed how we were nervous about leaving our belongings behind while snorkeling, swimming, or playing in the water due to the potential for theft. We thought maybe we could bring all our things with us into the water if we used this waterproof backpack. We were right! This wonderful backpack protected our stuff while snorkeling, swimming, waterfall rapelling, kayaking, rainy season hikes, and walking through torrential rainstorms that flooded the streets of Tortuguero! Whenever we felt nervous about the safety of an expensive piece of equipment, or about clothes or bags getting soaked, we tossed whatever we were worried about in this bag and it was protected completely from water and theft! The bag has a huge capacity, so my wife and I could fit quite a large amount of both of our stuff at once, including our smaller day packs and layers of clothing for shifting weather. Did we go swimming with electronics in the pockets of this bag? Yep! And they were completely safe! You just have to make sure the zippers are secure before setting off! Oh, also this bag floats, so if you are swimming and you want to take a break or get into a tough spot, it's got you as a flotation device! This also means if your bag falls off, it's going to be much easier for you to retrieve it. The color was nice and was neutral enough to go with just about anything. It was not too girly for my butch wife to want to carry, yet not too boring for my girly femme self. The only cons you may want to consider (which are honestly also pros, depending on how you look at it): -The zippers are hard to pull. You are not going to be pulling things in and out of this bag super quickly. This is because these are heavy-duty zippers and it helps increase water-resistance. I also think in the event that someone tried to steal from your bag, the dense and sturdy materials and sticky zippers might slow them down. However, we never encountered such issues personally, so this was not something we tested out. -This bag is big. It might be a little bulky or awkward to carry if you are looking for something smaller. For us, on a trip with so much gear, the size was perfect, and if either of us got too tired, we just switched who was carrying it. But my wife had it most of the time and rarely complained. TLDR? Buy it! You won't regret it!

The 15 liter is a good size for biking and motorcycling. It is stylish and functional. Great waterproof features and good zippers. It is comfortable to wear. Has interior pockets for organization. This is a well thought out backpack. I receive a lot of compliments on it.

I’ve put this dry bag to the test extensively across Colombia, Barbados, and Brazil, using it for hiking, beach days, and outdoor activities, and it has been great 100% Waterproof & Durable: The material is high quality, lightweight tough, and completely waterproof. Everything inside stays completely dry, no matter the weather or environment. Great Design & Aesthetics: On top of being functional, it actually looks really cool and sleek compared to standard dry bags. Ideal Size: The medium size was perfect for my needs to carry day-to-day essentials. (While 20L or 25L options might suit longer trips or extra gear, this size was more than enough for my daily outings). Outstanding Customer Service: After a few months of regular use, I ran into a minor issue. I contacted customer support, and they offered a full replacement right away without any hassle. The only slight downside: This size doesn’t have an outer mesh side pocket for quick access to a water bottle or small item, which would be a nice touch. Highly recommended for anyone who travels or loves outdoor adventures!

By FAR the most practical, affordable, effective, and overall reliable waterproof system I have used. From saltwater flats wade fishing, alpine lake hike/fly fishing, to SUP recreational paddling, to snowboarding, and everything in between… this pack is legit. (PRIMARILY) because of the quality features, durable materials, and of course price efficacy - the 20L provides perfect capacity and reliability for the aforementioned activities. I’ve struggled to find a small/medium-sized pack that can deliver like this for a while now, going back and forth between different sizes and overall gear systems to accompany the pack (ie: do I bring a hip pack, or load a backpack? What about on a boat? Etc), and happy I came across this as a one stop solution. Not too big for the skiff, plenty of pockets for access, lightweight enough to hop off the lift and not feel weighed down, and nice looking enough to use daily. Sometimes amazon products can be perceived as less than, but the makers put the hours in both in the field and on the fly. For reference, I have owned, used, and abused the Patagonia Guidewater (29L), Orvis Pro Model (30L), and Fishpond Thunderhead (28L) backpacks — all are fantastic in their own right… submersible, and backed by industry leading brands… but, this one is as great as all of them.

I think this is a great product and worth the cost. The company is American and a small business. They communicate with their customers well and are willing to support you. I purchased this product a couple weeks ago and I’ve used it once on a recent trip. I traveled by plane and it was a great carry-on. It’s spacious and has a few internal pockets to help organize your items. It also has an external waterproof pocket and two side pockets that fit water bottle and other small items. The build quality looks great and it is as durable as you’d expect. I took it on some adventures in Florida and even used it once on a kayak voyage and it held up great. The only thing that happened was during some regular use of the front pocket zipper, one of the pull loops came unattached. I reached out to Breakwater Supply and they quickly responded. They sent me an entirely new bag, no extra cost. Above and beyond customer service!

I'm absolutely thrilled with my new waterproof backpack! As a photographer, I've had my fair share of close calls with rain and water damage. But this backpack has been a total game-changer. I've submerged it in water, worn it in torrential downpours, and even used it as a makeshift flotation device (just kidding, but it's that buoyant!) - and my gear has stayed bone-dry every time. The backpack itself is comfortable to wear, with padded straps and a sleek design that doesn't scream "waterproof" (in a good way). Pros: - Truly waterproof (not just water-resistant!) - Durable material and construction - Comfortable to wear - Keeps gear dry in extreme conditions Cons: - None (seriously, I'm struggling to think of any!) This backpack has given me the freedom to shoot in any weather, without worrying about my gear. Rainy days are no longer a concern - in fact, they're now an opportunity to capture unique shots without stress. If you're a fellow photographer or just someone who loves the outdoors, do yourself a favor and invest in this amazing waterproof backpack. Your gear (and you) will thank you!

I got this for my son at the beginning of his freshman year of college. The bag worked great until about the middle of his sophomore year of college. Then one day the zipper got stuck. We tried everything we could to get it unstuck we put butter on it. We put oil on it. We put all kinds of slippery goose stuff to try and get it to release, but it would not release whatsoever unfortunately we had to end up cutting it. Not really sure what happened, but I do plan on trying to buy this bag again and hopefully we won’t have the same issue..

This is not a long term review as I’ve only had this backpack a week. I bought it for an upcoming trip (October 2023) to Florida and the Bahamas. My wife and I travel to Florida several times a year visiting the theme parks and it practically rains every day. We always carry a backpack to keep our cell phones, car keys, wallet, money, jackets, etc. Our stuff has gotten soaked several times throughout the years. Some things I like about this backpack is the overall size and capacity. Although it doesn’t have a lot of pockets for organization, you can fit a ton of stuff in it. We don’t carry a laptop but there is an area for one. I’m 6’2 and weigh 240 and the backpack is comfortable. The straps are wide and don’t dig in and there is good padding on the back. I like that the material is not cloth and it can be wiped clean. That will be nice for the beaches in the Bahamas. There are 2 water bottle pockets that are stretchy so they should fit a variety of sizes. Overall the backpack seems well made and the zippers feel very durable. I have tested it for waterproofness with a garden hose and it passed. I’m hoping it does the same in Florida. If not, I’ll update my review.

Amo la mochila!! Vale cada peso invertido. El único punto que creo podría mejorar es si le añadieran las tiras de soporte a la cintura y queda la malla para la botella de agua fuese más grande. Fuera de eso es perfecta, espaciosa, con algunos bolsillos para tus cosas pequeñas, queda todo protegido.

The Fogland Cordura 500D TPU version has the same feel, and welded construction as our Ortlieb Cordura panniers. So far quality looks top notch, hopefully it will last as long as our panniers. Weights 894g

A little smaller than expected, however, it's sufficient for what I need it for.
