Powerful Bass in a Sleek Package – A Must for Sonos Users
I recently added the Sonos Sub Mini to my setup, and I’m blown away by the performance. This compact subwoofer might look minimal, but it delivers deep, rich bass that completely transforms the sound experience—whether you're watching a movie, gaming, or playing music. Sound Quality: The dual custom woofers offer incredibly immersive low-end sound. The bass is tight, deep, and distortion-free, even at high volume. It adds a whole new dimension to my Sonos Beam setup—music sounds fuller and movies feel more cinematic. Smart Features & Setup: Setup is as simple as it gets. Just plug it in, open the Sonos app, and it connects wirelessly within minutes. The Trueplay tuning feature (iOS required) automatically adjusts the bass based on your room’s acoustics, which made a noticeable difference in my smaller space. Design & Build: It’s compact and stylish—fits beautifully in any room without being intrusive. The acoustically sealed cabinet and inward-facing woofers help prevent buzz and vibrations, keeping the audio crisp and clean. Plus, the design complements other Sonos products perfectly. Compatibility: I paired it with my Sonos Beam and Sonos One speakers, and the result is stunning. It blends seamlessly and enhances the entire system with more depth and richness, especially in action scenes or bass-heavy music. Final Thoughts: Yes, it’s a premium price—but you get premium performance. If you already own Sonos speakers and want to elevate your sound experience, this is a no-brainer. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, compact subwoofer that delivers big sound.

Powerful little subwoofer with big impact!
The Sonos Sub Mini may be compact, but it absolutely delivers — this little thing packs a serious punch! It adds rich, deep bass to my Sonos setup that I didn’t even realize was missing until I heard it. For its size, the bass is remarkably full and clean, and the wireless connection to the system is seamless. I love how it enhances movies, music, and even podcasts without taking up much space. I like it so much that I’ll be upgrading to the bigger version soon for an even deeper low end, but as it stands this is a fantastic addition to any Sonos setup — especially in smaller rooms or apartments. Pros: • Deep, punchy bass far beyond what its size suggests • Easy wireless setup and integration with Sonos ecosystem • Compact design fits easily in tight spaces • Significantly improves overall sound quality • Great value for the performance Cons: • Not as powerful as the larger Sonos Sub models • Premium price point (but worth it for Sonos quality) • Might be over-kill for very small spaces or low-volume listening Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Sub Mini and excited to upgrade to the bigger version down the road!

Einfach nur super
Das Teil ist einfach nur klasse. Kinderleicht zu koppeln und bringt einen tollen Bass. Nach Installation sollte man die Anlage allerdings neu einmessen

Compact, but powerful! Great addition to my Sonos Five setup.
I paired the Sub Mini with my Sonos Five, which already sounded great on its own and is my favorite Sonos speaker to date. It added a satisfying depth with the low-end frequencies that feels much more immersive, especially as I have the sub positioned behind me a few feet away on the floor. Adding it was seamless, which was a relief as our setup with the full-size Sub 4 took a couple factory resets to work. For being so compact, it produces a surprising amount of the bass. The drivers are force-canceling, which means they’re working together in tandem to cancel out vibrations that result in muffled sound and buzzing. This delivers a clear, thumping bass that can shakes walls when turned up and with a frequency response down to 25 Hz you feel the music through the whole room rather than the more directional bass coming from a single Sonos Five. Crossover with the Five is done automatically, so unfortunately you apparently need the Sonos Amp to configure it manually. To be honest, I’ve had a love-hate relationship with Sonos as some aspects are incredibly frustrating. Between gifts and my own purchases, we have quite a few Sonos speakers — an Arc Ultra paired with a Sub 4 and a couple Era 100s, some Ones scattered throughout the house, plus the aforementioned Five with a Sub Mini — so while issues aren’t specific to the Sub Mini they feel worth mentioning. The required Sonos app is thankfully considerably more stable these days, however no matter what I try there’s a single speaker that absolutely refuses to be renamed and sometimes devices will drop off until they’re power cycled. It’s also a miserable experience with Android as you can’t cast directly and are stuck with their cumbersome app, so I usually grab an Apple device as Airplay works as you’d expect. And sometimes you straight up can’t use anything until you update. If you’re already invested into the Sonos ecosystem though, the Sub Mini is great and it’s much nicer than running wires all over. For rooms like a bedroom office, this is perfect and I recommend it over the full-size subs as its performance is excellent while remaining affordable and doesn’t physically overwhelm your space.
