This works!
From a UK buyer: having delayed dealing with carpet moths for longer than I should have, I decided to try this product as parts of my carpet had clearly been damaged. Treated 2 large rooms, followed instructions and can say the product works. The smell is okay, but still has a slight chemical odour which is understandable. The product is not cheap, but it works. Wish Iโd have got it sooner. No further issues with carpet moths. Recommended product. I would suggest treating the minute you see signs of an infestation. I didnโt and it cost me my carpets. Verdict: slightly pricey but it works. Cheaper than new carpets.

Works very quickly, but trigger is quite stiff
I have moths living in my hallway carpet and though I usually try to avoid killing pests no amount of hoovering seemed to get rid of them. As soon as I sprayed this on you could see them react, which wasn't exactly pleasant but seemed to be effective. I was able to treat 2 sets of stairs plus the hall with about half a bottle remaining. I'm going to do a second treatment in a few days which I think would sort out the problem, for a while at least. Best part of this is that the spray actually smells quite nice and doesn't smell too chemically or caustic as you might imagine a product designed to kill things might do! I would say that the trigger was quite stiff on the bottle I received so an elderly person or someone with small hands might struggle a bit. There was also a small amount of spray that landed/dripped onto the hand holding the trigger so I just held the bottle with a cloth and washed my hands well after and didn't have any issues with irritation etc. My housemate has sensitive skin so I warned him there was spray on the carpets but he didn't notice anything so I'd say still be cautious when using this but don't worry if some of it gets on your skin.

I love it the moths donโt!
I get pestered with the few moths especially in my bedroom. I was hesitant about using a repellent in the place I sleep. This product is amazing. One spray around and the pesky blighters are gone. Other products have just seen them dart under the bed and reappear later. Not this product. Plus no unpleasant smell great product very effective.

Strong scent
I dont like the smell of lavender but was prepared to try this to nip in the bud a small moth problem in my flat. This has a very strong scent of lavender which has given me headaches. I sprayed my bedroom in the morning and had the windows open all day but I could not sleep in the room that night because of the scent, following night I managed to sleep in there but still woke with a headache. This will be a small price to pay if it does the trick though, using this, cedar rings and moth traps hopefully will work but only time will tell, although on first inspection it's done for a couple of wood lice from the fire place in my sitting room! So fingers crossed ! UPDATE : Had no moths until this week 5th Dec) when my cat spotted 1 poncing across my wooden floor in the hall, quickly disposed of and another spray of rooms been done, I think this is doing the trick as no moths in traps or seemingly kicking about, will spray again in the new year and am hoping the problem is resolved.

Works perfectly!
We had a bedroom infested with carpet moths that were munching away at the edges of the carpet. Moth traps kept them in check for a bit, but they kept coming back, and it went on like this for maybe a year. We nearly hired a professional pest control service but that would have cost us at least ยฃ200 or so. Instead we decided to give this a try first. I was worried it would be difficult to use, smelly, or ineffective, but the results were excellent. Treating the room took maybe an hour including clearing out some small furniture and the clothes from the closet (the carpet in the closet was infested too, but the clothes were mostly synthetic fibres and didn't need spraying). The actual spraying took about 10 minutes (all of carpet, but most thoroughly on the edges). It does smell a lot when freshly sprayed and feels a bit irritating, so I made sure not to breathe too much and kept the window wide open. After that I closed the door to that room and left the window open for an hour or so before vacuuming. The smell was much better by then, but I left the window open another 4-5 hrs at least. Recommend doing this on a mild day rather than the middle of winter. No one slept in the room that night, although you probably could have used it normally, as there was nearly no smell after the extended ventilation. I repeated the same treatment about a month later to kill another (smaller) batch of moths. This was last August and we have not seen a single moth since, so this is truly an effective, long term solution. But there is still plenty of spray left in the bottle if the beasts ever dare to return...

Hard to tell how much of an effect it is having, but it is having some effect!
This moth killer has worked fairly well in the one room where we have a lot of soft furnishings, although there's a lot of moving furnishings to do in order to get an invasion under some sort of control to begin with. This is handy for keeping moths away as much as anything, to be sprayed into the dark corners they love so much. It doesn't seem to have caused any discolouration of fabrics on the things we've treated, and painted surfaces also seem to be okay after this is applied. It hasn't eradicated moths entirely, but after moving everything around to apply the stuff and spraying this into every dark nook we have in that room, it is a lot clearer of moths (we still have one or two now and then) and the situation feels more under control. There's a vague lavender scent in the room that doesn't do much to deter moths (it's a 20x25ft room, which probably doesn't help). We've also sprayed it into our bookcases (behind the books is probably a good hiding place) and the books seem okay with it! I've no idea whether it kills moths on contact, because we have cream moths in a cream carpeted room, so whenever we vacuum it's hard to tell whether any are lying there dead or whether we're just vacuuming carpet for the fun of it. Well, *someone* might find household chores fun, if not me. The one side-effect we've noticed so far is that moths have begun to appear in other rooms that were normally clear of them (for lack of any soft furnishings in dark corners), so there is evidently a refugee problem going on. I'd suggest that if you really want to nuke moths in any real way you'd be advised by me to try to keep any room being treated closed. If you need to use the room that's fine, just keep any doors closed for a while as you go in and out of it - keep the problem contained and nuke it in place. I'm pretty sure that this stuff has helped us, but then again we've done a lot of deep cleaning in the room at the same time, so it's hard to tell how much of the population drop is down to the spray and how much is down to our own labours. The fact that we're getting moths fleeing to other rooms suggests that it's doing its job.

Works a treat
I was squashing 6-7 clothes moths in our bedroom every night, which was gross and I felt bad doing it. I guessed they were carpet moths because we'd moved into a new place with old carpets and none of our clothes seem to have been eaten. I read that it's a good idea to spray in the corners of the room, so I did that and all along the edges of the carpet both in our room and up the stairs. After that - no more moths! Literally! I'm amazed and delighted. The smell is noticeable, a sort of chemically lavender, but not unpleasant. Great product.
