My whole seedling gardening system came from Amazon. 1 The lights: My picture shows how I have 2 sets, 3 lights each. Their Goose necks are amazing. I can adjust each one to be just right for each row. It costs the least, and is the most effective. 2&3 Plastic Labels: thick, sturdy, flexible plastic in 6 colors. It comes with a permanent, smear proof marker, with thick or thin writing tips. 4 Fan: This is a trooper. I've used it for 12 hours at a time. After a month or so, it got tired and sometimes wouldn't go, but after resting it would go again. Since multiple uses, it's now rested a year, and acts brand new. 5. Burpee self-watering system. The seedling cells sit on the mat that soaks up the water in the tray. Each plant is moistened. The water level should be at your first knuckle. Check, and water occasionally. Each cell comes with a coir tablet that fills the cell with seedling growing mix. You can buy replacements for about $10. Make sure the label says "self-watering system. I cut a flower seed mat to fit last year's seed starter mat & tray. (All parts are reusable. This is my 2nd year. Everything is sound. The wildflower seed mat requires being soggy. I watered, put the lid on, and set the lights. My picture shows the humidity so I don't have to constantly water. 6 Warming mat under both seedling trays. Offers gentle warmth. Seeds germinate faster. If Amazon let's me, I plan to repeat this review on the components I've listed. Search for Amazon is the Answer. This review should come up. My seeds came from ebay. My wildflower seedmat, and extra coir came from Walmart. If I find Amazon links, I'll add them.

I've had this item for over two years now. It's been great keeping my plants healthy. I'm thinking about getting a new one only because the timer doesn't seem to be coming back on again the next day like it used too.

I got this grow light after my dill and cilantro got too big and tall for my hydroponic garden and were blocking the light from the other plants. I transplanted them to dirt and so far my plants are doing well. There are different light settings for different plants and I think two or three different timer settings. It comes on when it's supposed to and turns off when it's supposed to. The three arms are fully and independently adjustable and it comes with a big clip to attach it to something to make it higher and another piece to make that clip into a stand so you can use it two ways.

I bought two. I was very happy with them. The timer feature is very helpful, and the light settings seem to have been very good for my plants, since they are growing well. However.... five months later, one just stopped working. It's not the bulbs... It no longer even seems to think it is plugged in. The other one is doing fine... so far?? I ordered a replacement. Not sure if it was a good idea to buy the same thing, but I guess I will give it a go. My plants are in a dark office, and I don't want them to sit in pitch black whenever I am not in the office, like on the weekends. I'd have aimed for higher quality this time around, but they all look about the same in the end. Update: The 2nd one just died as well. Started flashing, then flickering. Only the red spectrum on it works now. I highly advise you find a different type. This is obviously not a reliable light.

My child got some seed kits for Easter. Having cats in the house makes it hard to start any seeds in the actual sunlight, so this is a great option when direct sunlight isn't a great option. I love the tiny gardening tools it came with. Perfect for my child. And the stand that you can use with the clip is genius. Not sure how well it actually works as a grow light, but so far so good! Update: It is working great! Sprouts are thriving.

I've now purchased a second one of these grow lights as the first one was exactly as advertised. Lots of settings and three timer settings. I've used these lamps to start my tomatoes from seed and they all did exceedingly well. Tomatoes were transplanted outside a few weeks ago and are thriving. This was the first grow lights I've purchased and I'm very happy with them. The tools are also nice if you have young children that want to help you in the garden.
