Superb
The Muji Aluminium Fountain Pen is a sleek and reliable writing instrument that exceeded my expectations. Its minimalist design is complemented by a lightweight yet durable aluminum body, providing a comfortable and balanced grip. The nib glides smoothly across paper, offering a consistent ink flow without any skips. I appreciate the pen's versatility, allowing me to use various ink colors. The simplicity of the pen, combined with Muji's quality craftsmanship, makes it an excellent choice for both everyday use and professional settings. Overall, a fantastic purchase for those seeking a stylish, high-quality fountain pen without breaking the bank.

Superb pen - brilliant value
I normally use more expensive pens but have recently been trying out different sub-£20 fountain pens to see if any could serve as an everyday, 'chuck it in your bag' pen.The Muji pen really surprised me. It's slim, well-designed, finely machined and looks and feels like a quality pen. It writes beautifully and is very comfortable to hold.It comes with a standard black single-use cartridge, so I've fitted mine with a Faber Castell ink converter which fits well. This pen is really pleasant to use and very good value for money overall. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Great aluminium Fountain Pen, if you like EF tips
I really want to like this fountain pen, but it is not for me. It is made of light but sturdy brushed aluminium, with a very minimalistic look (as you would expect from MUJI). You can use it with international cartridges, or you can get an adapter. Very well-balanced and comfortable to use.My main problem is that I cannot get a smooth flow with the Extra Fine tip. I feel like I need to press more than I am used to, and that creates a slightly scratch feeling in the paper, which I do not enjoy. I am using Waterman Intense Black Ink, but I cannot achieve a smooth and continuous flow, with some letters/words coming up as darker than others, probably due to the pressure issue I am finding.Highly recommended if you enjoy a superb designed all-aluminium Extra Fine fountain pen, but I will save it for signature or special work only.

Pleasantly surprised
Being an absolute fountain pen addict, this kept coming up to tease me. I finally caved in and bought it. I usually go for a medium nib but wanted to try a fine nib for some finer writing. My experience of fine nibs has generally not been good but this pen amazed me. Very understated design. Light aluminium but with a nice grippy knurled barrel. The smoothest fine nib I've found so far. Pretty comfortable to hold although the knurled grip stops a little too far from the nib for my liking but that's because i tend to grip my pens very close to the nib. It's not really an issue to be honest and has not spoilt my enjoyment of the pen. I like the way my writing looks with this pen. Somewhat tidier than usual. I would definitely recommend. I know better than anyone that you really do not need to spend a fortune to get a decent fountain pen.

Nice writer at a decent price point
The Muji is a nice little pen. Quite light in the hand for those used to heavier pens. It writes well and I've had no issues with ink flow (using a Faber refillable cartridge). That said, it is a little scratchy when compared to more expensive pens but, at its price point, it is a very useable pen.

Amazing Fountain Pen for the price
The pen is great. Great quality, light and a nice precise tip. It writes well and draws also in a nice manner. An advice would be to ditch immediately the ink it comes with and buy a universal converter. I went with a faber-castel one and a waterman black ink. After this change i cannot let the pen off my hands :) Either i write something, draw or doodling lines and squares :)

Clip broke within a month. I've only used it on my suit pocket. Now it dangles around and makes noises whenever I write with it posted.

SCRATCHY???
I previously bought this pen directly from a seller in Japan that was buttery smooth - zero issues, I decided to buy this pen once again, I had seen some YouTube videos from the US and UK complaining of its scratchiness, although I assumed that was an one-off defect.I have never experienced a scratchier fountain pen, this pen was eventually gifted on and on second-thoughts, I regret gifting this away, I would hate for the receiver to automatically assume all fountain pens are intentionally scratchy and unpleasant.I understand this is a rather harsh review, the pen I ordered from Japan was an excellent ergonomic pen, due to the item's current cost of £18, I will not make another purchase, if it was priced lower I would hope the next one to arrive is not defective. This has been my favourite fountain pen, simply due to its simple and ergonomic design.

One of the most underrated pen
I am writing this review after using it for 2 months. I came across this via youtube video while searching for metal fountain pens, before that I never heard of it. And after using it, I must say its a great product. Unusually small cap as compared to other fountain pens, takes sometime to adapt to it. Some of the key features are very smooth wet nib, nice sleek grip, full metal body. Totally loved it and now it has replaced my Lamy Safari in daily usage. I tried sketching with this pen also and it worked amazingly.Must have, long lasting pen.
