This is my view is one of the funnier Ladybird books for adults. I bought it for a gift for my daughter who then bought one for a friend

Entertaining quick read
Bought as a Secret Santa gift, The Ladybird Book of the Nerd is one of the latest offerings from the Ladybird Books for Grown-ups series. These pithy and amusing little hardbacks offer clear and entertaining text alongside original artwork from the Ladybird seriesโ that the grown-up readers may remember from their childhoods.I ponder what it says about me that I recognise friends and acquaintances in each of the pages. I clearly know many who delight in quoting from ancient TV series, the more obscure the better, and watching films over and over that they agree are actually terrible. Many of the references had the readers in this house laughing out loud. And this is the value of these little books. Although quickly read they do entertain.
