This is going to sound like I'm being elusive but I'm not trying to be loud is subjective past a certain level your hearing becomes endangered measured in decibels which is an elusive quantity because each company uses a different level of 0 DB Sony JVC all you something slightly different so I'll answer this question in an opinion only I've been listening to audio many years and I'm now 62 years old I still love rock and roll like I loved it when I was a kid including classical and pop and a lot of other kinds of music if it's well done are they loud they're loud enough to make me uncomfortable and loud enough to make my ears ring after I listen to them too long at too high a level I use an LG v20 to drive these headphones it has a built-in headphone amplifier one of the strongest in the business according to multiple reviewers I agree it has the strongest headphone drivers I've ever seen and these headphones are low resistance which means they will sing if they are pushed hard I have never seen the need to push the much over 50% out of 75 in my opinion yes they are very loud I've never been able to make them to the store either for the money you can't beat them I'm sorry about the wording response but it's not a question you can answer easily because everybody has a different type of idea
