Bought three of these to add to some existing shelving from screwfix which was double the price, have to say these are just as good as the others, do not in anyway feel cheap or flimsy. Easy to put together, very pleased.

I purchased this shelving unit to organize the clutter in my garden shed. I wanted something compact that could hold paint cans, potting soil and a few toolboxes without taking up too much floor space. I have been using this rack for about a month now. It fits perfectly in the corner and initially looked very neat and tidy. Performance and Experience The boltless design is excellent. I managed to put it together in about 20 minutes using just a rubber mallet. The frame itself locks together well and feels stable once positioned against the wall. However I have noticed a structural issue regarding the weight capacity. The description states it can hold 175kg per shelf but my experience suggests otherwise. I have placed some storage boxes on the middle shelves which weigh significantly less than that limit and the boards are already showing signs of bending in the center. It seems the board material is not quite rigid enough for truly heavy items. If you distribute the weight perfectly to the edges it might be okay but I would not trust it with the full maximum weight listed. Pros • Assembly: The slot together system is very quick and requires no screws or bolts. • Size: The 30cm depth is perfect for smaller sheds where you do not want the shelves sticking out too far. • Finish: The black coating looks smart and helps prevent rust in damp environments. Cons • Shelf Strength: The boards start to sag even when the load is well under the advertised capacity. • Board Thickness: The shelf material feels a little thin which contributes to the bowing issue. Verdict This is a perfectly good shelving unit for general household items or lightweight garage storage. However if you are planning to store heavy tools or car parts you should be aware that the shelves may bend. I recommend it for light to medium duty use only.

Bought for the loft, easy to assemble, seems sturdy

I've bought these shelves before (different seller) and it was easy to return to them. They are basic but if you want functional, easy to assemble, nice looking shelves at a low price I highly recommend them. They seem quite flimsy when assembling but trust me they are solid as a full structure. The MDF wood shelves are a little thin but when weight is distributed evenly, are strong and solid.

I thought these shelves were flimsy when I took them out of the box,the plywood is so thin .How wrong I was after a bit of a struggle to assemble (,better with 2 people ) these shelves are very sturdy .Light enough to move around and strong enough to hold lots of paint pots ,heavy tools and other stuff.Definitely recommend and at a great price too .Very happy customer.😀

I would give no stars if I could. I bought three of these over two orders to mix and match different heights whilst having maximum shelving options, except two different products arrived. One of them was also damaged, with two shelves being broken and unusable. They are incredibly flimsy and move considerably whenever an item is removed. There is also no way that they can hold their advertised weights. The instructions were easy to follow, however the parts do not easily fit together and will usually fall apart easily if just held upside down. This also meant that the shelves often didn't lie flat on the supports, causing them to come away easily. When I decided to return all three items, the only option Amazon provided me was for me to arrange and pay for the return shipping myself, which is against the law under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for faulty, damaged and unsatisfactory goods. It was incredibly hard to get this point across and in the end I had to compromise with Amazon contacting the 3rd party seller and having them send a prepaid envelope rather than Amazon sorting it, despite my contract being with Amazon, not the third party seller. This obviously isn't the first time Amazon has ignored UK law as they find many loopholes to avoid paying their corporation tax. I would highly advise not buying this product and buying a better and more expensive one from Screwfix instead. Unfortunately, often you get what you pay for and in this case, you certainly do not.

Delivered on time, well packaged. The metal surface is a little shiny and looks good quality. At first, I found the assemble was more easier than 2 other racks (different brand) I built a week ago. But then I realized this is in fact a cons. The joins though easier to fit but they are just too loose and easy to fall apart during assemble. Compare to my previous builds, it needs a mallet to hammer in the joins locking it tightly. As long as you have weights on each of the shelves, it is still considered sturdy for its small size at 30x70x150, which was the exact size I needed. And if I need more racks in future, I'm afraid I won't be buying from this supplier again.

I bought this for shed storage. It arrived flat packed. Worthwhile counting all the metal pieces and separating them into piles before assembly. The small parts look similar. The instruction card is not very detailed. The key point to note is the placement of the metal end tabs into the frame. Some of the tabs need a very slight adjustment / bend. Very easy to do. Line them up then tap them down with the palm of your hand. Make sure they are both seated in the hole correctly. The metal middle support bars are fitted via the metal tabs through the hole then you need a flat edge screwdriver to bend them back, this adds rigidity to the entire frame. Tip - don’t bend the tabs on these bars until you’ve selected your shelve height. Otherwise you’ll double the assembly time and risk snapping the tabs. Took me 30 minutes. Once built it’s a sturdy shelving unit. The plastic feet were easy to attach, whereas the top plastic caps were awkward because I had the top shelf at the highest position. Worth dropping it down one level. Very happy with the rigidity and size. The MDF board is very thin but seems firm. I suspect it will bend or bow if you don’t displace the load/weight and it won’t last long if it gets wet. It’s great value for money. Ideal for the shed. It holds power tools, chain saw, tool box without any problems. I’ve screwed the frame to the shed to prevent it toppling over.
