Great flavour.
Great value for the amount you get. I love using this when making Tamagoyaki, have even used it for making scrambled eggs as well. Have t yet used it in a broth but I've heard that's a good use as well. It adds a great flavour to your food. Definitely recommend.

Excellent product; surprised at the quantity supplied for such a long date.

Tasty, economical
I bought the 1kg box, as it seems most economical. It came in 2 sealed heavy-duty bags in the box. I made a mug (250ml) with a small teaspoon of the dashi powder, it thickens the soup nicely and tastes great on its own. I added a tsp. of Miso paste and a pinch of soup seaweed and enjoyed it immensely. I expect this 1kg will last me a long time, but I intend to use it a lot. I cannot read the Japanese on the packaging at all. I will, however, recommend it. The smaller packaging on Amazon are less economical tho.
