Only and the Best Sustainable on-the-go Pen
This is an absolute no-waste winner of a pen, due to its cartridge system. Although it says you can't use fountain pen ik, it appears to me that fountain non-wet inks could be used to fill the cartridge and keep using it. It doesn't bleed through the most porous of paper. It's so convenient and admirable for all the fountain pen users who need a pen for on-the-go use. Has typical pilot pencil kind of feedback and obviously doesn't look the best with its plastic body and big text, but definitely writes well. The only better version of this pen would be if Pilot sells the ink for it.

PERFECT PEN for plotter!!!!
I started using my 3d printer as a plotter and have been battling to find a decent pen to use. I found a lot of pens would damage their tips and fibre tip would just wear out. The pilot keeps up with fast movements without ink balling up on the tip. Was able to fill the cartridges myself with my own ink so that is a super bonus!!!

Nearly a great pen... but why is the lid clip not metal?
I work in architecture & construction and have used the disposable V5 pens for years. When I saw there was a refill option - reducing waste - I went for it. I've now used the pen for work for about a year. Generally, I found the refillable pen comparable to the disposable pens. The only downside is that the lid clip is plastic, which isn't very robust. Mine snapped off fairly early on, which is frustrating for something that is meant to be more durable. It means that now I don't use the refillable pen it outside of the office (I still use the disposable ones with the more durable metal lid clip). Why Pilot didn't make the lid clip metal on the refillable pen, I don't know - cynically, I suspect price point - but I feel this is a real design flaw, hence the reduced star rating. So nearly a great pen...
