Mayca Moon Persimmon Kuzumochi Made with Japanese Fuyu persimmon Wagashi Traditional Japanese sweets Kuzu mochi

Purchased from my mom for a New Year’s present she loves persimmons and I recognize this box from our trips to the Japanese grocery however they’re really aren’t many in our new area so I went to Amazon and found this product looking at the price. I was quick to realize it was hyper inflated, but it was better than having to drive a couple hours out to find it at a Japanese store, which is always a crapshoot. Will it be there or not lol.

They are so wonderful; they really balance out perfectly as a wagashi with some matcha or Kabusecha. It is a little expensive but good!!

A tasty snack. Not too sweet. Will buy again.

The ingredients weren't listed anywhere on the product page, but based on my familiarity with kuzumochi, I assumed the ingredient list would be fine. Surprise: There are a couple of artificial ingredients, and milk/egg derivatives, which means I can't eat this because I'm vegan. It sucks that I can't return it either. Waste of money and waste of food.

It’s ok, can be firmer and better.

It’s OK but I won’t buy it again. It’s too sweet and for me it’s just not the taste I crave when I think of permissions.

Bought this for a family member who regularly eats Japan desserts. They loved it.Will purchase again.
