How many boxes do you think I would need to moderately cover a 7 ft. Christmas tree? Thank you!

I bought just one box...I divided them up for my 4 adult kids to have 6 each, along with several other crystal ornaments. I would get at least two boxes. They reflect the lights creating an illusion of additional lights. For me, I would probably get 4 boxes as I've always had icicles on my trees and love them alot.

Are these solid or hollow?

They appear to be solid. I was very impressed with the quality of these icicles.
