Pleasantly surprised
So the moving company damaged much of our furniture, including really scuffing up our leather couch and loveseat. I was upset, to say the least, especially when the insurance adjuster (we purchased extra insurance for the move) refused to pay to replace the couch and only wanted to pay for "repair," and since it is an older couch, they weren't offering much. I figured I'd do some searches on here and see if there were any DIY upholstery products, knowing there was no way a professional would reupholster it for what the insurance adjuster allotted for repairs. I was surprised to find "paint" products like this, and figured I'd give it a shot, because it couldn't look worse than it already did (except maybe if I used those patch sheets people buy on here... Those always look stupid). I cleaned the leather really well with a leather cleaner, let it dry for a couple of days, and then applied this product with a q-tip (the scuffs were unsightly but relatively small), and then dried it with a hairdryer, per instructions. It looked a bit better, but still rough. Repeated the paint and blow dry process two more times, and the results were pretty good. The scuffed leather is still rough to the touch, but it's no longer an eyesore, and because this product was almost an identical match to the couch, you really can't see the repair unless you really look closely. This product didn't do anything for the small puncture on one of the couches, but the color at least masked the scuff around the puncture and made it less noticeable. I'm happy with this product because it has enabled us to keep our couches and wait until we move in a year or so to buy new couches (as we don't want to buy new ones now and have movers damage them when we move again). Absolutely worth the $14 I spent on the bottle, and the 30 minute or so of time I spent "painting" and drying the scuffed areas. I can't say how this will hold up, long term, because I just did it tonight, but based on where the scuffs were (edges, rather than seating part that gets lots of use), I think it should be fine (and if it's not, I can just add more paint to get us by until we purchase a new couch set).

Great product for repairing leather color
I had something with a strong adhesive stuck on my Bellroy wallet. When I removed the object, the adhesive took off the top layer of color, leaving a few spots out of color with the rest of the wallet's developed patina. I used this leather paint in dark brown. I followed directions and shook to mix it up, then applied a tiny amount to a disposable cloth and massaged it into the discolored spot. It almost disappeared instantly. I was pretty shocked. I rubbed in a little more, removing some outside of the intended area, then dried with a hair dryer on low. The paint dried immediately and did not rub off after throwing it in my back pocket. If you've got something that needs repair and the discoloration is driving you nuts, I'd highly recommend giving this a shot! It was super easy to apply and far less than spending on a new, genuine leather product replacement. I'll update in a few months to see how the quality holds up.

Works Like Magic — If You Know These Tricks First!
This product can be a miracle worker — with a few important precautions. I’ve used several products from this company for three different projects ( saving me thousands of dollars), and here’s what I’ve learned: 1) The repair paint acts like a flexible vinyl paint. It does an amazing job covering color, texture, and small tears. You may need to blend colors to get an exact match, so always test in a hidden area first. In fact, you might want to practice the whole process on a small hidden area, like under the seat, to get used to the product. ******Important: Not all bottles are the same shade, even if labeled the same color! I bought a small “cream” bottle and later a large one — completely different shades. Luckily, I had one of those sets of 3 and mixed a few drops of a darker shade to get a perfect match. Note that when the paint dries, it will appear different, so wait until it's dry to determine if it works. In addition, you’ll need more paint than you expect. Still, once mixed, it worked wonders — it covered a large damaged leather spot from cat vomit that had nearly eaten through. After several coats, I could not tell it was damaged; noting, my chair is "pull wax" leather (created to show off a natural leather's aging and patina over the years), so the matching chair had very slightly more color dispersity in the seat. Using the buffing balm on the undamaged chair made them indistinguishable. 2) Use the Furniture Clinic Leather Flexifil sparingly. It’s great for sealing large tears, but it can leave a visible smear texture if you spread too wide. It says it can be sanded, but keep in mind you’ll be sanding the leather too, which can leave uneven spots. It fixed a big tear beautifully, but didn’t help much with tiny claw punctures. 3) Expect to apply multiple coats of paint to cover the Flexifil texture completely. But if you're just covering a small stain, you can get away with covering the small area completely, then using a "dappling" or "light sponging" technique to blend the paint into the undamaged area. You might want to try this first to see if you really need to cover the whole surface. 4) Be patient between coats. Let each layer dry fully before reapplying. If you brush over a section that’s started drying, it’ll pill or lift. I would avoid using a heat source to dry, this is not wall paint- it's like a liquid vinyl and might warp, chip or peel in time when high heat is used. Cover your tools with plastic wrap to avoid them drying out. 5) If you end up with a mistake or just want to start over, you can use a slightly abrasive dish sponge with water to remove the paint until it dries completely. I would wait until the leather is fully dry before reapplying. Once you get the hang of it, this combo can make your leather look brand new again. It saved my couch and a chair — but patience, prep, and color testing are everything!

Easy to use, affordable, results are amazing
I had a leather couch that was unfortunately very scratched by my two cats. Usually cats don't like to scratch leather but I had a fabric couch cover that they liked to scratch and their nails made it through the cover onto the couch. Decided to buy this and I was amazed by the results. The bottle is rather small but a little goes a long way. I just used a paper towel and dabbed/rubbed the product into the imperfections of the couch. I did this two times. The couch looks brand new, if not, better!! It dried in a couple hours but I left it alone for a day to make sure. No residue left over!! I am only taking off one star because a few months later I'm starting to see some of the scratches again. I did two coats. I would still recommend this product because its cheap, a little goes a long way, it's super easy to use, there's no residue or transfer onto your clothes, and it makes your couch look amazing. I would not mind having to apply it every now and then, it's better than throwing away my couch.

Awesome product- blew my mind and was so easy!
I was really skeptical so I got the smallest bottle to try and wow was I surprised! My dogs tore my couches that supposedly leather but they got me and the immediately lost the leather and peeling so easily so I started researching and furniture clinics was recommended so I figured what do I have left to lose my couches were already a mess and I wasn’t trying g to make them new but wanted them to look decent. I’ve done 2 coats and plan on doing another one then using the sealant. My hope is that it doesn’t get on clothes but we will see and will follow up when the sealant added. But so far so good- pic speak for themself- I just followed directions and cleaned the couches and use a microfiber sponge to paint and it looks great!!! I can’t wait to seal- this saved me so much money!!! For this size sectional I for 2 small bottles to test and for a large bottle to finish as well as the large sealant in dark gray- which color was also on point!

Works great!’
I purchased a leather livingro set 4 years ago. I purchased a $1000.00 warranty. I have a large dog that gets up on the furniture with never any problems. One day he had a rawhide bone and the edges were sharp. I noticed som scratches and spots that the top layer of leather was off. I contacted the warranty company and they denied the claim. I ordered the fsrk grey leather paint it matched perfectly. I am sure the warranty company would have done the same. Save money. I don’t know how it would work on all colors.

It’s thin, so several coats need to be applied.
I put six coats of paint on my project and it will not cover the putty I used to do the repairs. Which was a paintable, leather repair type putty. On the areas where there were no repairs, it worked well enough. If I only had to use it to change the color of the chair or refresh the color of the chair it’s a great product.

This stuff is the best!!
I used this product to recolor the captains chairs in our RV that were damaged by a former owner’s cat. These chairs are difficult to remove and are super soft and comfortable so we wanted to try repairing before recovering. After cleaning the chairs and trimming the tags around some of the holes, I used Coconix Vinyl and Leather repair (purchased on Amazon) to repair the hole in the arm and fill most of the claw holes. The video is the chair before any repairs. The first 2 pictures are the chair after the Coconix repairs. I then applied Leather Repair paint in Ivory to the chairs using a sponge in several light coats using about a quarter size amount at a time. I didn’t have to use a hair dryer (recommended in instructions), the paint dries fairly quickly. I did need to apply a few extra layers to the arm and sides where the repairs were heavy. The 3rd and 4th pictures are after the leather paint had a few hours to dry. The chair is still very soft and the color looks great. In summary: Application is super easy. Cleans up with soap and water. I applied 3 thin, all over coats to two captains chairs and additional coats to several repair areas and I still have 1/2 of the 17 oz bottle left. I do not think this product alone would have repaired the hole in the arm but it is great for scratches, small holes and discoloration. Super happy with the results and ease of use and highly recommend for minor repairs.

It fixes your leather jacket like anything. Fills in all the gaps and gives it a new texture.
Value for money. Quite a good product.
