Very efficient LP cooler for the money
Excellent delivery turnaround by Amazon as per usual, a bit fiddly to install and especially when trying to align up the two mounting screws - I also strongly recommend that you source a very slim phillips screw driver when attempting to do this part of the assembly as otherwise you can bend the fins when attempting to tighten the screws themselves because of the two screw gaps being very narrow.Besides that - the cooler itself performs very well and really surprised me considering it's low profile and also taking into account that I'm using it for my Mini ITX build. Idle temps are the usual 35-40c depending how warm my room is at any given time but full load / gaming temps never seem to exceed 60c. Doing a full blown CPU stress test in say AIDA64 only see's the temps max out to 64c as well. Noise temps being a Be Quiet cooler do not disappoint either, virtually silent when idle and still somewhat quiet even when at full pelt.Overall - very happy and would recommend.

be quiet!: Shadow Rock LP
I am currently using this on my i7-6700k processor and it works amazingly. My temps are good whilst the fan remains almost inaudible; which for the form factor, is incredible! The cooler is easy to install, adaptable and is aesthetically pleasing. I highly recommend it in any small form-factor build.

Good product, but this one was obviously second-hand (supplied by Amazon EU)
This is an excellent cooler, but it needs some care and patience to fit successfully. For an AMD CPU, you have to heed the instruction to only LOOSELY fit the mounting bracket screws until AFTER you've attached the unit and clips to the AMD mainboard. Otherwise you cannot clip it on.Once running, the unit runs very well: extremely quiet, and my CPU is 7 degrees cooler than before. The downside on this delivery from Amazon E.U. was that parts were missing and the unit had obviously been tried on an AMD motherboard before. There was no thermal paste on the heatsink, where it is supposed to be 'pre-applied' for this model; one of the 2 retaining screws was missing for the AMD fixing bracket; and the cooling fins were bent and buckled around where the AMD bracket attaches to the cooler. I would guess that someone had struggled with it, then sent it back to Amazon, probably complaining that it didn't fit.Not very good, Amazon: not checking properly before sending it to another customer; and not stating honestly that the product was a previously returned item. I have been building PCs for years, so worked around the problem to save the bother of sending the unit back.

Delivered and fitted in 15mmin
So a lot of reviews mention that its hard, fiddly and takes ages to fit, I found this to be the reverse....Fitted fan to MB header, fitted AMD bracket to cooler, test fitted prior to actual fit and checked was OK - Re-positioned to reverse as ram was an issue, removed plastic cover from base and with some care fitted both AMD holders onto MB supports, screw down, fit fan and job done.....Nice cooler running in my media server, would recommend.

tight fit - beware!
Most people fitting coolers hate messing about with clips, screws, tight spaces, thermal paste and it generally sends people into a bad mood.I've marked this 3/5 for two reasons, however I think the actual unit mechanically is quite good.1. The instructions are poor. The orientation of the cooler absolutely matters - in my build the opposite direction can't be done because it hits the case fan. There is very little explanation of the pitfalls, of which I ended up landing with both feet right into. Some steps dont have pictures at all.2. The total height relief of the cooler requires it to sit over the ram like in my picture. The spare space vertically does not allow for any RAM with a heatsync on it (compare the left and right pictures). Ask yourself how much RAM you buy as a consumer without a heatsync on it these days? (Removing heatsyncs require hours of effort and heating up or liquid nitorigen and will void your warranty so you just do not)So, having wasted my money on this cooler because it is too low to work with RAM with heatsyncs and its got a very long shape offset from the CPU center, I'm marking it down because of design and presentation and this caused me to delay my build by over a week whilst I source alternatives.

Ultra silent, good cooling capacity
Using this on an mini ITX motherboard, it's nearly 3/4 of the size of the whole board, and fits perfectly around the mosfets, RAM and other components. It's slightly fiddly to install the thicker brace that holds it down, you may need a thin, long screwdriver to screw it in, and the spring clips on the fan are a little tricky to install. The stock intel cooler that this replaced was a noisy beast, this easily cools 10-15C more than the stock cooler, and the fan is as good as silent on 100%.

Fiddly, wobbly and not that quiet.
I just installed this cooler on my FX-8350 CPU. It was a nightmare to fit it and required a lot of stress while doing so. I have fitted many coolers to many computers so this is not something I am new to. When I finally got it on it was loose fitting and wobbled around, despite being as tight as it should be on the mount. The fan that went on it was also difficult to connect and once on it too was wobbly and did not feel at all secure. It looks okay, that is the one thing I can say in its favour, but that is all. I would avoid this one if I were you and go for one that has a direct connection to the back plate as that is a lot more secure.

Top banana
It's great, I'm well impressed.I've built a media PC for my living room in a Silverstone GD09 which is a pretty cool case for ATX motherboards but in a small housing to fit into your media/hifi cabinets n all that. Brilliant case but it doesn't leave much room for your usual tower CPU coolers. Got this be quiet! BK002 Shadow Rock LP CPU Cooler after reading a few reviews on Tom's and the usual places, and it's great.Easy enough to install and set up, great packaging and extra bits and fittings, does the job very well. Is very quiet, as it should be from be quiet!

Very Pleased
I am extremely pleased with this heatsink / fan, I was in a pinch and had a water cooler suddenly fail. In a pinch I choose this cooler as a replacement. Not only does this cooler provide better temps than the previous, it was super easy to read the instructions and install. Totally would recommend .

You've had the rest, now have the best
First things first, the cooler is of amazing quality and provides exceptional performance. I'm a function over form type of guy so I have always sought out downdraft style coolers for my builds. The mounting system is very simple and sturdy, just as good as noctua in my opinion. This has been the best downdraft cooler I've ever used. So in the photos you see I swapped the fan to an Arctic because Arctic sells their fans in five packs and that's how many fans that case has room for. Right now it's cooling a max voltage 11400 and stays below 70 and whisper quiet during day long gaming sessions. In my opinion if you're spending money on a build, and downdraft coolers interest you, then there's no question that this is worth a look, if you don't necessarily have a heat problem and can't justify $50 for a cooler then get something else, you can get a $10-20 air cooler that will cool almost anything as long as you're not overclocking. But for small form factors and/or high wattage CPUs then this cooler with the added benefits of being a downdraft style cooler make this an easy number one pick for me. Keep in mind that style and a compact size do come at cost, and that for me that was clearance for the ram and VRM heat spreaders. If you set it up the way I did, because my VRM heat sinks are very tall and would not fit under the extended side of the cooler. That's not a problem it's just something to take into consideration when planning around this cooler, use low profile ram. For reference, the board is an MSI h510i pro Wi-Fi and the RAM is crucial ballistics. The cooler would not clear gskill rip jaws in The orientation pictured. Great cooler if it fits your style and/or application. Mounting system noise level easy to install. Give a thumbs up if you appreciate my honest review!

Worth it if you want a quality option that’s not Noctua
It is very quiet, I did change the black fan for a white fan to match my build but other than that keeps my cpu at a cool 33 C on idle
