UK buyers
I was so excited to get this product, we put it on with a standard plug adaptor. As it didn't state it wasn't a conventional 3 pin plug for the UK. Sorted. Or so I thought, when we put it on it went mad, boiling and spitting water everywhere. Read the instructions 3 times. Then I dawned on me, the power is different in the US to UK. so we have spent another £23 to get a power reducer from 240w to 110w. Why on earth the seller doesn't warn is beyond me, this machine could have caused a fire. As it is we had to carefully scrub off the burnt bit at the bottom of the cup. I'm hoping after this avoidable dangerous start we will finally have a working machine when the adaptor arrives tomorrow. Not impressed with the supplier!

Doesn’t start and it doesn’t come with UK socket
It doesn’t start. I wasted all the material for nothing. And now i need to find a printer to print a label, find an UPS point and send it back. Also if you’re from Uk and you are lucky for it to work, it doesn’t come with adaptor so you need to find one yourself.

extremely unsafe and does not work
product exploded when turned on and even jolted the fuse box. This product has an American plug but with no convertor when being sold in UK.

Never owned a Milk Maker! So glad I went with this one!
Only recently I realized I was having issues with Dairy. So I decided to make my own Vegan Milk. This appliance is amazing! So far I have made Coconut milk, and the other day made Almond milk. I even made my own Vegan butter! It is so easy to use, and knowing there are no other preservatives makes it very healthy! After making a Strawberry and Banana smoothie with just the almond milk, I just had to come and write this review! It makes the best smoothie I have ever made. Trust me, I have made them many other ways in different appliances, but this one is the best for sure! And I didn't even need to put yogurt. Just Frozen Strawberry and Banana and (my Almond milk that I made in this appliance). The almond milk is super easy to make. 6 little scoops of almonds, water and I put in two pitted prunes. Delicious! You can also just use it as a kettle if you want. apparently you could make soup, haven't tried that, but I may one day soon. No regrets buying this appliance. It comes with its own little recipe book, but for the butter I went on line to see how I could make it using a milk maker. And if the recipe book doesn't have what your looking for just look it up on line. I really debated on buying this, thinking do I really need another appliance! But it really is not too big, and works like a blender, a kettle, and makes me Vegan milk that taste good! So it was worth every penny for me!

Belle machine efficace
Je suis très satisfaite de cette machine, car elle broie très finement. Elle ne filtre pas, mais pour moi les fibres sont précieuses, d’autant plus que j’achète les céréales, amandes et noix biologiques.

I like this so much I own two!
I love love love the Arcmira. I tested a whole bunch of recipes before reviewing this. I’ve made hazelnut-cocoa coffee creamer, coconut milk made with coconut shreds, oat milk and creamer, cashew-oat blend (a favorite), cashew creamer, pecan milk and creamer, walnut milk (another surprise favorite!), rice milk, and soy milk with both soaked and unsoaked soybeans. I’ve made tea lattes with Earl grey tea plus cashews, Earl grey tea plus pecans, both with various sweeteners (dates or sugar or maple syrup.) I've used top quality instant coffees with nuts and water to make lattes, and also put drip coffee in the machine with nuts to make a cafe au lait. Here are some pro-tips: 1. The oat milk recipe in the booklet states to use the warm cycle. Do NOT do this as it will cook the oats and make “oatmeal milk”. Not a good flavor. Instead, I run it on the room temp setting with cold water and a couple ice cubes. Works great, and doesn’t get slimy! 2. E2 means the lid is off. Your Arcmira isn’t broken, don’t worry, just put the lid back on. 3. You can add a small amount of oats to a nut blend for extra creaminess. It can be tasty! It’s also fun to mix ingredients like coconut-cashew, or a soy-rice blend on the hot setting. 4. Lattes, either coffee or tea or a health drink like turmeric or beet powder, work great on the warm setting. High quality instant coffees or those mushroom coffees can work great here with some water and nuts of choice to make a tasty final product. Also matcha powder works to make a matcha latte, as the warm setting doesn't get too hot for green tea or matcha. 5. Clean your Arcmira right away. Don’t wait, especially w soymilks, as residue can stick and get harder to clean. The self clean function is great. 6. Natural plant milks separate in your fridge. It’s normal. All you need is to shake the jar or pitcher and all is together again! Commercial milks have preservatives and emulsifiers, and homemade milks do not. Your milks usually have a 3-5 day shelf life. 7. Hot setting: you can make a soy chai with soybeans and chai spices, then add black tea at the end after straining. Or, you can make horchata with rice and lots of cinnamon, with almonds for extra protein. (Not necessarily authentic with almonds, but I like it.) 8. Finally, the accessories: I am personally not a fan of the nut milk bag that comes with the maker. Instead, I use various fine mesh strainers with a silicon spatula to press all the moisture out of the pulp. The scoop that comes in the box is approx 1 Tbsp: try the recipes in the booklet and then customize them to the ratios you like. I find that I prefer a bit lighter ratio of nuts to water. Sometimes I make milk extra thick and then add water to equal a quart: I do this with the soy milk ratio in the booklet. It’s perfect, actually! This kitchen gadget is my new fave, and its compact profile allows it to stay on my counter all the time. Especially great for families of 1-2, or larger families who enjoy making plant milks every day or two. This is so versatile. I enjoy making my tea lattes in it the most! There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's a small one, and it's so fun to discover favorite recipes. I own two of these now as I can make different drinks simultaneously, or double batches of stuff like soy milk for my upcoming work week. Absolutely worth it!

Multi Use, Good Quality
Love it! Never used one before, always wanted to try. Intuitive and simple buttons ~ instructions are easy to read and use. Recipes TASTY! Making Almond milk with it and WOW is it tasty! I did not expect the flavor to be so much better than store bought. Sure it will pay for itself very quickly if you normally buy almond or coconut or soy milk, but you will also be delighted with the flavor and the *versatility* (once you get the hang of the formula in the recipe book, you are only limited by your imagination and what is in your pantry). Surprisingly easy to clean (it has a self cleaning setting, but that is not necessary for most recipes as the liner is metal and cleans up very well with hot soapy water ~ many nice cleaning tools included but not needed thus far ~ a good sponge does the trick). This is FAST ~ you can make Almond Milk (or coconut milk, etc) in under 10 minutes including clean up time. The bag that comes with it happens to be far superior to the extra bags I ordered by some other company. The bag does a very good job of straining and is easy to rinse and dries very quickly. Very happy ~ also, it can replace your blender and your electric tea kettle (it has a "Room temp", "Warm 140" and "Hot 212" temperature settings so you could use the Hot setting to boil water for your tea or pour-over coffee). Instead of cluttering up your appliance garage, this will can replace a blender AND an electric kettle. I prefer to soak the almonds or pecans overnight in water in the fridge, but that is not necessary; this is a POWERFUL blender. It is loud, but not as loud or as high pitched as a blender ~ more a rumble than a squeal, if that makes sense. Ha ha! Here is a tasty Recipe made with ingredients from my home in the Desert Southwest: Lavender Pecan Milk 1/3 C Pecans, 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender flowers, 1 Date (pit removed), 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Syrup, pinch of salt, water to lower fill line. Blend on "Room Temp", strain, chill, enjoy.
