Dual Action Decapper Pliers for Decapping Crimped Vials and Bottles Scientific Labwares (13mm and 20mm)

Perfect to decap my bottles of xeomin for my aesthetics business. Does the job and good price range.

I wanted everyone to know how awesome this product is! As a new OR circulator, I struggled to open the 1G bottles of vancomycin powder for the ortho cases. I would try to use my scissors or clamps from the techs and it wasn’t easy so it stressed me out. Please I question the sterility of that technique. All you do is take the plastic lid off the top of the bottle, squeeze the appropriate size side of the clamp on the top of the foil edge. Make sure you get a good grip, squeeze and flip your wrist up so your thumb goes from 9’clock motion to 12’ o’clock. The smaller size bottles are harder to open. I’m usually drawing up with a needle to add to a custom cocktail with those so I don’t use that small size of the clamp anyway. Our hospital doesn’t stock Epi with marcaine 1:200,000 so it’s easy for to add the Epi to my marcaine and then decap the marcaine bottle and transfer directly to the field. It’s Well worth the money, I use this multiple times a day at work!

These vial decappers are absolutely perfect! They are sturdy and precisely manufactured. Without a doubt, they perfect for removing the caps from 1mL and 0.5mL vials. These are the 4th and 5th ones I’ve bought, and it’s because my business is expanding! The only thing one must understand is don’t try to delicately remove the cap with this tool. You must grab the cap firmly, hold the vial with the other hand and twist off. Clean removal every time, whether you have large hands or small ones.

I’m an OR nurse and use these on a daily for medications I have to open. These work so well. I get compliments on this decanter all the time. I love how there’s two different sizes. A little pricey but worth the money.

Overall, good decapper. Did break a Botox bottle neck, which has never happened before.

For my needs this works great. I only need to open a few vials from time to time and this decapper opens them every time without any problems. This device is a solid tough tool that last a lifetime. Once you get the hang of using this decapper it only takes a few seconds to pop off the vial caps. I love that it has a different size on each side too.

Use it to pop the top of botox bottles and it works great. Just gently grip the top, a little twist and pop, it is off.
