Excellent Backpack-able Travel Midi Keyboard
Excellent & fits in a backpack!Great build quality, metal base & high quality plastic, hinges are good although I’d like even more heavy duty / larger in a next version. They’re pretty good, not flimsy, but small & not as solid as say Surface Pro kickstand / laptop hinges. There’s no way to lock it open, so you can’t use it on your lap easily. For this & added strength I had to make a 3D printed brace for it, so I can use it away from a desk.Keys are like large computer keyboard keys, but are surprisingly playable. So not a proper keybed (I also have Korg Micro Key air, recommend that for superior keybed, though mini keys) but if you’re a proficient pianist / keyboard player with not giant hands (key widths is fine, but depth is on shorter side) you should be able to use this fine. They are ‘clickity-clackety’ noisy though, sounds like a cheap shallow travel computer keyboard. Velocity sensitivity works fine, had no errant velocity during play (I’ve had that with a travel Maudio Mini 32). If you’re proficient / pro, you should be able to perform / produce with this fine.I like that the mod / PB turns out isn’t an XY (by default at least) but act as 2 separate vertical touch strips.Connecting with bluetooth midi works fine with Mac OS, iOS (although I find I need to connect first, then relaunch app for some reason..), can’t get to work on Windows (10) at all yet. No drivers on website, connects in Bluetooth but doesn’t show up in DAW (cakewalk) nor midiberry… so beware Windows users.Works great outside Windows though. Recommended.

Great Portable MIDI Controller Keyboard
I own and like my Xkey Air 37, but I was looking for other portable options and purchased this folding keyboard. Here are my thoughts so far.Like the Xkey Air, it pairs with my iPad via low-latency Bluetooth and has a built-in rechargeable battery. It has standard width keys, but they are shorter than normal (which may be a problem for some keyboard players - it doesn't bother me).The key travel distance (up/down) is less than normal too, but bigger than the Xkey. There are 4 built-in velocity curves plus a fifth option for a custom velocity curve. The keys are synth action, but I find them much more expressive and easier to control compared to the Xkey (e.g., when playing an acoustic piano). The keys are somewhat noisy (click-clack), but I expect noise from this type/size/price.Folded, it is small enough to fit in a backpack - really great!I think the price is very reasonable for what you get.The keyboard does not lock in the open/unfolded position so you have to place it on a flat surface. I use mine with a keyboard stand (but I have to place a piece of wood on the stand to hold the keyboard).

Good value for the money
The keys are not hinged like most electronic keyboards. Instead, they seem to float like marimba keys and velocity force is consistent no matter where you press. The keys are sized just right and are very playable. There’s also velocity force settings

Portability is great but terrible key action, really Terrible.
If portability is your main concern then this might be for you but its only just about usuable, it has a PC keyboard style key action which is lound and clicky but works I guess. The velocity sensitivity works but isnt great and I could not get the ARP to work unless in internal mode, it does not seem to recieve a midi clock, but that could be my DAW maybe (studio on) or the almost complete lack of instructions.I only paid £60 for this which is just about all its worth, £99 or more is a big ask for this but mainly just due to the poor key action as the whole folding thing is brilliant. Luckily the portabilty is more important to me so i'm keeping it. I will however be looking for something with a better key action at some point.THIS IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS, IT WILL PUT ANYONE OFF PLAYING KEYS !!!

Great value for the money but with one issue
For the price, this is great value. The frame is sturdy and the hinge is robust. The keys feel good, even though there’s less travel compared to a regular keyboard, and I was impressed with the velocity sensitivity. The keyboard worked well with the MIDI interfaces I tested (e.g. Garage Band), both over Bluetooth and via USB-C.Unfortunately, the only downside was that one of the keys doesn’t work on the unit I received, so this will have to go back.

exactly what I have wanted
Before buying I have read lots of reviews so I know what Im getting. after receiving the product, I can say from myself that the following is true.1) build quality is more sturdy than I thought2) Key bed is shallow and feels clicky, but strangely its very playable.3) I have no issue with the velocity sensitivity. After trying out a few I prefer the default one.I have read a comment for a similar product saying that if the USB C is the port for charging as well as communication, it will drain your Iphone... I have actually asked the manufacturer and he reassures me that this is not an issue. I have tried myself, after 15 mins of playing thru USB, phone battery only went down for 5%, probably less if I have turned the screen off. I am definitely gonna try bringing it to a 3 hour gig.

Broke in a month, don’t purchase
The media could not be loaded. Stopped working after a month. Tried factory reset, doesn’t work, device strangely turns on when not plugged in and then dies. No helpful customer support, kept being passed to different companies and different email addresses and now hit a dead end. Flimsy build, stopped working after 35 days and now unable to get a refund. Great concept poorly executed, don’t waste your money.
