Great lights, brought my garden to life at night

Bought to replace 20W halogen bulbs which were a bit on the dim side. Chose these for the higher light output, light colour (daylight white) and a relatively decent price. The bulbs work fine, are very bright (C in C very pleased) and just as importantly have the same mechanical dimensions as the bulbs they're replacing. The bulbs are in 'eyeball' downlighters so slightly recessed, making the diameter and thickness of the front flange important. these went in with no fuss. I took a chance on the existing transformer being able to drive these properly. A common complaint when putting LED bulbs in as a direct replacement for halogens is flickering. This is very rarely a fault with the bulb, but actually the transformer/power supply not being properly designed to work with low power draw. LED devices generally need a much more regulated supply to work properly, and the flickering is a sign that the transformer cannot maintain the correct voltage and current. Replacing the transformer will set you back typically £10-20, the important words being 'constant voltage' and/or 'constant current'. Don't forget to consider this if switching to LED bulbs for the first time and are cost-conscious... No such problem here.

These lights are 27v not 14v as stated, whether this affects anything i do not know, they did work when I tested them. I was hoping my solar panel and 12v battery would run them without resorting to the inverter, if I'd been given the correct information I would not have bought. Everything else was as described,cable length was correct another reason I chose these above other makes, will probably keep them just for that reason alone.

As you can see from my photo, I have the 8 lights spread end to end of my garden, some on fence, some on ground and some high up and they do a great job lighting up my garden just enough, but not so it will bother neighbours. They are the only lights in my garden. And they are great. Hopefully they last.

I was skeptical given the low price but as they were on offer, I thought I’d take the chance. I was expecting them to be rather dull but they are bright, clear and a lovely warm light. The length of cable and distance between lights is great and actually covered far more of my garden than I’d hoped. I have them in beds with sprinklers and, well, they’re in Scotland so they are constantly getting soaked and no issues. We’ll see how well they last the winter temperatures but I will likely be getting a second and third set of these!

Awful. Lights have filled with water and two of them have stopped working after being in it Garden for a few months. Avoid.

Initial experience is that these are very good quality lights and good value for money. They feel strong, are easy to install, and give a good level of lighting for our small garden. The individual lights are quite small so they do not dominate our plants. The lead from plug to the first light is about 4/5 metres so we did not need to use an outdoor extension lead. So far, so good.

Lights are ok, cheap, but will do for what I want. But just ook at the diagram closely, as I went on the description, assuming it was one long length, but it's actually been split into two banks of lights with the mains power cable on the middle. So effectively great if you want to go left and right not so good for long liner runs.

La luce emessa da queste lampadine è molto alta. Io le ho installate a soffitto (4 faretti ad un metro circa l'uno dall'altro) in cucina per illuminare il piano di lavoro dall'alto. Fanno una luce stupenda, forte ed allo stesso tempo diffusa. Sono più che sufficienti per illuminare la cucina tra l'altro. Colore o Kelvin: non è luce fredda tipo neon, nè calda tipo alogena. Se devo descriverla è come un neon ma senza dubbio più caldo quindi rende l'ambiente accogliente e gradevole anche se illuminano una cucina laccata in bianco assoluto (quindi freddo). Consiglio il pacco da 10 (a chi ha più punti luce installati) perchè in caso una si fulmini siete sicuri di avere il ricambio con le stesse identiche caratteristiche, cosa non semplice da ottenere se siete amanti degli acquisti su internet.

Très bon produit. Elles sont annoncées 7W. Elles éclairent très bien contrairement à beaucoup d'ampoules LED qui sont plus faible que leur puissance annoncée. L'angle d'éclairage de 120° annoncé est respecté. Eclairage instantané. Livré rapidement avec Prime. Je recommande ces ampoules LED.
