I'm actually pleasantly surprised how well it performs. It performs equally well on either side, so once you've filled up one side, just flip it over! It is much stiffer than blotting paper used to be and feels a bit like watercolour card, but with a more open 'weave'. There is no doubt in my mind that this does as good a job as the blotting paper I used to know and love all those years ago. I cut each A4 sheet into strips of around 6cm wide to fit a wooden blotter. That gives me 5 strips per sheet. There are some alternative, very expensive ways to buy a similar product, but with a fancy label or name! This product represents good value for money at around Β£7 for 10 sheets of A4. Ultimately it seems that this is what you get as ink blotting paper these days and I'm certainly not disappointed! Thoroughly recommended!
