Great price, easy to clean, almost silent and great bubbles!
Had a bit of a false start as the first one of these I received didn't work but as usual Amazon gave me a no hassle refund and the next one I received was perfectly fine. I have used this every day since I bought it - love it! The kids love the cold frothy milk for shakes - it really is frothy too! I love the hot frothy milk and the warm milk settings. The milk really does froth up and holds the bubbles - I use semi skimmed milk. You can heat enough milk on the warm function for 2 coffees and it takes no time at all and is practically silent. It's super easy to clean as long as you do it straight away. I use a soft bristle brush and just rinse it with warm water - just make sure you don't get the bottom wet! I spent a long time looking at various milk warmers/frothers and was not convinced that it would be easy to use and clean but I'm glad I picked this one. There are some really expensive ones out there and I'm not sure that you get any more than with this mid price model.

You will want hot chocolate everyday !!!!!
Bought this as we recently moved home . Firstly it is nicely compact with a black exterior , the milk frother works well with hot and cold milk , the amount of froth is impressive, this milk frother works well and looks stylish and modern in my kitchen , oh and my daughter loves it to create her hot chocolate milkshake! Overall a very good product ! Oh and itโs a dream to clean very well made .. try it u wonโt be disappointed

Good piece of kit just wish it would get hotter. Works great foams brilliant.
Quite a noisy little machine, works as intended only gripe is that it doesn't make it hot enough, so have to keep on turning it back on when temp light goes out, again & again. And even then it's far from hot. Does produce excellent foam, not with all milks so do your checks. Coconut alternative not good, but nice, I find Barists Oat is the best for foaming. Still nice little piece of kit, not to big so easily put away or leave out on show. Value for money, well it does what is says so I'd say yes. Easy to clean as well. Now I'm the foam master so to speak.

Love it.......
This is our second Andrew James Milk Frother. Unfortunately the first one we bought died when I absent-mindedly dropped it in with the washing up. Not recommended! We looked around for a replacement. There are quite a few models now on the market - but many only take 115 ml of milk for frothing and we wanted one that took up to 150 ml. Our frother is a completely new model - now stainless steel instead of black and it comes with two different whisks. If feels very substantial and it works really well at producing lovely frothy milk. Husband is in charge of coffee making and his first comment was "It certainly froths well, but look - the milk is leaking out of the top". Yes, milk was spraying out and pouring down the outside of the machine. When he happened again he suggested we return the machine. "But did you put in more than 150 ml of milk?" I asked. He confessed that he had guessed the amount... We found that exactly 150 ml or less works well - over that you get a surge of milk over the top. For our needs we find it easier to warm the milk in the microwave and froth it on the cold setting. We use the machine every day and are delighted with it. If there was an electric frother on the market that only frothed and did not heat the milk we would buy one - but they don't appear to exist. A really nice product - must make sure I don't drop this one in water!

Not perfect, did what it claims for a while then broke.
Unfortunately this frother has failed. The heating element no longer works and renders the device useless. It is yet another example of goods not manufactured to an acceptable standard to last the legal merchantable quality laws. .I paid under ยฃ30 for this in a sale. I'm not sure if it's possible to find a similar item cheaper, but I very much doubt it. The quality of materials and manufacture defies this frother's price. It is sturdy, well built and feels strong. The finish is gorgeous. It makes the kettle from the same manufacturer seam very cheap and plasticky. So it looks great on your worktop. Using the frother however is not such a premium experience. It's a faffy messy affair ending with a cold drink. OK that's not strictly true, it's a warmish drink but not hot and definitely too cold for my preference. There is no control over the heating or frothing. You press the one button and the frother does its thing. Either you have warmish whisked milk or much colder but impressively firm froth. You cant have a nice hot jug of controlled froth, there is no in-between. "Either or" and "All or nothing". Making a latte therefore is very long winded and involves a micro-waive. Frothing or not frothing is determined by the whisk attachment in the frother jug. In order to change the function you must remove the whisk attachment and replace it with a different one. To make latte I have to do a run in the jug of just warmed milk, and then heat that milk up to sensible drinking temperature in the microwaive. Then do a run of frothed milk, cleaning out the jug and changing the whisk each time swapping between frothed and just warmed milk. It is very messy, very inconvenient and I am sure will result in the loss of the tiny - a few millimeters - whisk attachment which would render the device totally useless. Summary: it was less than ยฃ30. A barista machine costs thousands. It is a long winded messy process but after all the theatrics you do have a nice drink and making it didn't annoy anyone with loud noise from a conventional steam frother. I don't think you can beat the value of this little gem. What happens if you do loose the tiny weeny attachment I'm not sure, but apart from that I can see this frother lasting years.

Above expectations - a real find!
I don't often bother with writing reviews, most purchases being fit for purpose and little more. This, however, is cut above the norm. It does what it says, all of what it says and does it all very well. Easy to use, almost silent and heats the milk to just the right temperature. So it works but why the fuss, - well the instructions are in clear and concise English at a size and font that does not send you searching first for a magnifying glass, included is a useful diagram and serving suggestions, up and running in minutes. The two attachment are simple to fit and exchange. Simple to use and the whole thing looks very smart (mine is in Black). Even the box is nice looking making this an ideal gift choice. In summary, here we have functional quality that is not overpriced. One slight word of warning, make sure you know understand the limited capacity, if its a full milk drink you are after then its one mug at a time!

It's ok
It's an ok milk frother. It's not as good as other (branded) ones, but it does the job. The big downside is that milk burns at the bottom after every use (although the frothed milk is fine!) so you have to scrub it off every time you use it. Even if you leave it to soak, it won't come off unless you properly scrub it.

Itโs coffee time!!!!!
A very good product. Easy to use, is a good size, and looks sleek. It heats, foams, and is easy to clean. What more could you want except someone to make you the drink to start with?
