Canon PIXMA TS6050 All-In-One Inkjet Printer - Black

** Ive updated this to 4 (maybe 4.5) stars as I have now found it is easy in the settings to disable the paper registration function, and to have the printer auto switch on ... Also after a fair bit of use the ink consumption is better than previous Pixmas - although not tried clone ink yet.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I spent ages trying to find a replacement for my old pixma which whose printhead failed. The plus points are;- The quality of print is good- Its not hard to set up and printing directly from iPhones etc works brilliantly- Ink use is reasonable although not tried clone cartridges yet- The scanner produces decent images- The software is familiar to those replacing a PIXMAThe negative points are;- If you leave the front panel up (Which you need to do to make settings) you have to visit the printer and pull it down .. more annoying than it sounds- The paper registration feature is a real pain (there may be a way to disable this) but at the moment every time you open the front or back paper feeds are opened you have to enter the paper size on the touchscreen- The touchscreen is fiddly and easy to input the wrong option (see above)All in all I don't regret buying this at all, but it does have some irritating flaws

Nice and compact, relatively easy to use, together with decent quality output, both printer and scanner.The front paper cartridge is a bit fiddly and the 'register paper' is simply pointless.Of course, it's a printer, so don't ever expect to not have any times when you could happily lash it out of the window, but that comes with the territory and is almost nothing to do with the device itself, rather software and interface nonsense.Certainly one of the better printers I've used and the wifi seems pretty solid (yes, I was surprised too!).

Just awful. Don't know what it prints like - as it refuses to print! No matter what I try, the printer simply does not recognise there being any paper in the cassette tray (despite it being full). I have followed every instruction in the manual, online, etc to the letter and still - every single time - "There is no paper in the cassette tray". I have tried over 2 hours to get it to work. Nothing.I have contacted Canon support regarding this, and if the response isn't really satisfactory and I have a faulty product I will be returning this item for a refund, as I simply am not paying £150 for a brand new item that is nothing but a worthless piece of junk.

Bought this from another seller, but had to send back as very noisy and poor quality. They had none left so bought from this seller. Had a Canon Pixma for years so wanted another one. Was not put off by faulty printer as the feedback for this model is generally very good.2nd printer is great. Easy to set up and to connect to wireless printing. Use for my iPad and several family members have iPhones that they print from and a Mac book. Inks are individual so only need to change empty ones, saving money. I purchased non Canon cartridges and the printer has accepted them no issues, with no loss of quality or any of the applications.

I've found this printer excellent for family use. It's a nice descreet size but has very good specs. Setup was very straight forward and connected to of straight away. We also use various laptops around the house and it prints no problem at the furthest room on the floor below. It also prints from phones really easily, so all in all no complaints whatsoever, do would highly recommend.

It arrived quickly, is small, and looks good. But it is very flimsey and noisy and only takes small quantities of paper so you are forever filling it up. It would be OK for occasional use but not for daily use. I did ask if I could swap it for something else but didn't get an answer.

Purchased for a friend, it failed to work within a couple of weeks, so has had to be returned and replaced. Not my idea of a good design, with the lift-up control panel (which is less than intuitive), but it did a reasonable job for a few days.

print quality ok, but such a poor design overall... both places where you put paper are "plastic fantastic" = flimsy and not sturdy. Feels like it will break easily, which it did. Nice display and that is about it. Really thought it would be better. Makes me want to avoid Canon printers now :-(
