RockTape Standard Kinesiology Tape - Muscle Support

Fantastic tape, so good for injuries sticks really well

I buy this type to make my own over tape patches to secure my son's continuous glucose monitor and cannula on his insulin pump. I have tried many kinesiologie tape for this purpose. I have found rock tape to have the best sticking power, durability and gentleness on his skin. It removes without residue with a good medical adhesive remover. The tape is easy to cut to shape. As with all kinesiologie tape it's best to round off any corners and this helps prevent the type lifting at the ends. It stays put well through regular showering, gym session, sports and swimming lessons. I wouldn't use any other brand and is worth every penny.

Really good and a real help for bad backs. Takes a bit of getting used to to use and make sure you cut the ends in a curve to aid sticking but it's a good tape and does stay in place for a number of days. Not cheap but the best tape I've used

I tried cheaper versions of “kino” tape and was left disappointed with them. Then bought Rocktape which was worth every penny. The adhesive is good and the tape stays on a long time (I took it off every night but I’m sure it would have stayed on for days). When taking the tape off (i mostly took off wet in the bath) it didn’t leave any marks and didn’t hurt like other tapes did. It is good quality tape that provides really good support. Would recommend 👍🏼

I bought this on someone’s recommendation but with very little faith in its claims. I was wrong. This stuff does exactly what it says it will and supports and relieves muscle strain and weakness.

I bought this tape because it looked like another kinesiology tape I had before which was Amazing. It too was pink, BUT, it left my skin intact, and lasted forever. It was like a second skin. This one goes on well. It stays put (they say for 3-5 days), I think I did 3 days and then left it on for 5 days. My knee was feeling better, it had firm support and I forgot the pain I was feeling, well, until this was taken over by needing to itch where the tape was. I left it and distracted myself. But when the burning sensation kicked in and little red blotches started appearing I had to take it off. Despite doing this slowly and gently it was really painful. When I lifted up the tape there were blisters, and bits of skin missing. Plus the residure of the tape was a pain to get off. I now have not only a bad knee but a cut and blistered bad knee. I have used this tape since as I wait for a knew brace but by not putting the sticky side on my skin and then wrapping more over it so there is tension but no skin contact with the adhesive. It still works and offers less chance of skin damage. At least for me. This is a good tape, just not for me. I wish I knew the brand of that other tape.

After some extensive hill walking l suffered sharp unpleasant pains on the outside of my left knee during descents. I suspected Iliotibial Band Syndrome and paid a visit to the physiotherapist. The physio told me my ITB was sticking rather than gliding as it should and proceeded with some vigorous manipulation to free it off. She then applied a strip of rock tape from just below the knee to the top of the thigh. I was sceptical as to it’s likely benefits but I went back out on the hills to give it a try and was amazed at the difference. Still a few twinges but nothing like the pain previously. The tape stayed on for 8 days and baths / showers did not cause it to peel off. In fact when I took it off it was still sticky enough to pull unpleasantly on my leg hairs. I can’t tell if the physio alone would have had the same effect but I’m now a convert and use it whenever I go out for a lengthy hill walk. It’s comfortable to wear and most of the time I’m not even aware it’s there. Only if I bend as in a squat can I feel it pulling on the skin. It seems quite expensive for what appears to be a roll of stretchy, sticky tape but if it prevents the knee pain it’s definitely an excellent buy.

Sicuramente un dei taping migliori in mercato, il migliore tra quelli utilizzati da me! Utilizzato per dei problemi al polso/mano è riuscivo ad allievare il dolore e a sentire un supporto in più nei miei movimenti. Durevole, anche in acqua reagisce abbastanza bene! Per chi nn ha l’opportunità di cambiarlo posso tranquillamente dire che la sua applicazione e assicurata fino a 12h. Nessuna critica da fare! I am new to kinesiology tape, so I am speaking from limited experience - about six months. I first started using the tape at a Airosti clinic for a lower back injury. The tape worked well and I have added it to my tennis preparation and weight training to support my shoulder and elbow, as well as a bad knee. Kinesiology Tape is a miracle for us "older" athletes that tend to find two or three new injuries every heavy activity. I added tape to my tennis regimine when I found that my shoulder would get really sore during warmups when I would try to serve with power and that by the time the match started, I would resort to just putting lots of spin on my serve and not risk injury. After taping my shoulder, there is never a second thought about going for aces during the match and I have not had any tenderness or aches the following day. So being sold on the tape, next I have to start purchasing my own tape as the clinic was no longer providing me tape and free installation! The clinic used rocktape and I found that I could leave it on for up to five days, including two or three showers a day. I purchased the KT tape for my personal use found that it did not last past the tennis match as I would be peeling off the tape as the edges loosened and the tape started coming off. I also found that the KT tape did not stick to itself well. I decided that I would go back to the Rock Tape and found that it works much better in regards to staying in place and maintaining the "stickiness" throughout a heavy workout or tennis in the heat of Houston in the summer. I was not a fan of the billboard tape advertising, but if it works why go to something different. I will try the H2O next time, but for now I will stick with the Rock Tape and recommend this to others as the best of products that I have found.

I’m so confused did I get a dud?? I’ve been using the KT pro for my wrist tendinitis, but everyone was raving about rocktape so I decided to try it. My arm was shaved and properly cleaned before applying (which I did so the evening before activity), and the next day it started peeling? Later that day I was able to take the tape off easily without any soaking in any water or oil (and regular KT tape users know the pain of trying to rip off tape). Tried it again and same thing.
