Augason Farms 2 Week 1 Person Emergency Food Supply

This item was purchased in case of disaster storm. Item has a shelf life for 25 yrs.

I haven't eaten but the packages are sealed in an easy to use bucket with a great storage capacity. Nothing was broken and it looks like the ingredients are a decent quality. The product is expensive, but so is survival.

Thankfully we haven’t had to use these yet. But they are the best value for the money. They have a great calorie per day amount and a good protein per day amount. They come sealed and can easily be stored away until you need them. The ease to make these to eat them can’t be any easier, just add water. We did order several of these and did find one of the packages inside wasn’t sealed properly, but the company promptly replaced our item and gave us an extra freebie for the inconvenience. It is about a 4-5 gallon size bucket, so it doesn’t take up a lot of storage space.

Looking at the packaging it looks well made and well packaged to last a while, even in less than ideal conditions, as such it's at the bottom of my emergency pantry (Longest life on bottom, shorter life on top and easier to access). Being that it is freeze dried there is nothing to react or go rancid for who knows how long. I am however disappointed that the "Best By" date is only 10 years vs the advertised 25 (why 4 stars not 5), my package is fresh manufacture, don't remember the date but was late 2024 so about as fresh as possible. Being a 1 person 2wk kit it ought to get my daughter and I through a week fairly easy should the need arise

Bought one for my daughter after Hurricane Helene. Every household should have one. Reasonably priced for quantity of food.

I ate some and it was very good I mean you're about as good as you're going to get and I bought a lot of these actually and from other other brands also but this brand is very good. So if you're survivalist like me this is a must I have a whole room full of these things.

Tastes great

We’re a family of 5 who lives in the middle of no where. We use these type of meals when we run out of propane and can’t get into town right away (we typically go once a month). Each packet has 8 servings and feeds us all (me and daughter are good on one serving, husband and boys usually eat two). We use to buy mountain house and I will admit even though MH is easier to prepare, you really just can’t beat the price point with this as 14 meals runs just under 5$ a meal for all 5 of us. We love it and it this pail lasts us one meal shy of 5 days. 100% recommend for families. Also, we taste no difference from MH these are adequate.
