A: This is because a half-circle heating process is used, which concentrates the heat. At high temperatures, an oxide film forms on the surface, resulting in a specific color.

**Q: How to remove limescale?**
A: Add an appropriate amount of white vinegar and salt to the kettle, then add about 200ml of water and boil it. After boiling, let it soak for at least 30 minutes. After pouring out the water, you can remove the limescale with a scouring pad.

**Q: The base station is unresponsive and won't power on at all. How can I fix this?**
A: This situation might be caused by water getting into the connection between the base and the outer pot. You can try drying it with a hairdryer. You may also try rotating the outer pot to see if it's a connection issue.

I highly recommend this tea maker, i did not read the manual carefully in the beginning... so i thought, the machine did not brew except black tea, and i requested return, the return placed successfully, but because i really love the machine and its German strong and neat manufacturing, i decide to go again through the manual and read it carefully, step by step, i found i was wrong... and the machine work and brew perfectly in all choices, green tea, herbal tea, coffee and black tea, then i canceled my return request immediately, and i decide to keep this very very lovely tea maker. Please please read the manual carefully and follow-up all steps before you decide to return.
