Useless! Rat keeps coming although I cannot stand the smell!

Useless - Waste of a (lot of) Money.
We pushed one of these balls into the entrance of a rats' nest and 2 weeks later the rats were still happily in their nest. We pushed a second ball into the nest and another 2 weeks later they were are still there. We monitor their activity with a trail cam. We treated another nest exactly the same way with the same result - the rates still there. It is now 2 months since we started using these Balls and can only say they are useless - and cost a lot of money. They are made in China and may repel Chinese rats but have no effect on English rats. I wouldn't mind too much but I feel considering the high price of this product they should work.

Unwanted guests? Get these
Put one in my shed unfortunately I had to get rid of them as the smell was too much made me gag as soon as I went near it I don’t know about mice but they sure would keep visitors away

You need an enclosed garden for best success
Unfortunately our garden is not suitable for this product as it has too many boundary hedges etc for rats to gain access through. I imagine the best success is gained with a fenced garden where you can see the rat access points fairly easily.

Mice ate them
Bought these as didn’t want to poison the critters and stink out my living room. Popped a couple of these bad boys in the ceiling cavity, after getting my fingers broken by the springy wings in the LED lights. Room and fingers smelt of garlic for quite a while. All was quiet for a while. Then the little sods started rolling the balls around! Took out the LED (while protecting fingers) and rootled around for a bit before bringing out a handful of mouse poo and a part of one of the balls.Wouldn’t recommend

I have super rats
Well I brought these for natural way to deter the little furry critters from the garden. But I must have super rats as the little buggers have taken off with them .. I made sure the holes were secured and the balls placed .. first day thought brilliant no sign of Mr Walters family... Next day I saw him running around having a party for one in my garden .. next day that party for one developed into a family gathering. I like rats but I want to keep my puppies safe... As one of my puppies is a rat assassin and is plotting their deaths. So thought this will be great and natural way to move Mr Walters family on. Unfortunately they didn't work. And £13.99 expensive meal for Mr Walters family.
