Love this product! The two cars in my garage are so close together, that it was extremely difficult to squeeze into the one on the right without the door touching the other one. Even a light touch can leave a mark. Now - no more worrying about it. I have these handy, and the padding is quite thick. The magnet's are under the cover so no danger of them damaging the finish. Haven't used them in parking lots. That could be trickier not knowing how other's doors would open against my car. Great for my garage though.

These work as designed, great idea, however, the placement on doors is not easy to position (fender and door contour). When you use them make sure you dust the area with a California Duster, and the protectors themselves, as there will be accumulated grit which will scratch the finish on your car. Using these when there are heavy winds insures you will have to run out and remove them constantly. Many times, I have found them a half block away, at that, several times a neighbor found them and returned them to me. In addition to this, I even had a couple stolen but was able to get them back later. I'm tired of constantly taking them off and on all the time in every parking lot and at home. Eventually, I will need to add permanent bumper guards on the doors of my two new cars (2025 Miata & 2026 Mazda 3 hatchback). This is something I have resisted because I didn't want to take away from the factory design of my doors, however, I think you'll all find this may be an alternative. I've located a company online which offers strips which permanently attach and match your paint. My last new car, I paid extra for the Honda dealer to install at purchase, but Mazda does not offer. By the way, these are very well made, and do work, except for the magnets are not strong enough through the backing material to keep them attached well. I don't use the attach (anti-steal) straps as they will eventually damage your door weather strips. Update: As I said, taking them off constantly before driving is a pain, but one day, in a hurry, I forgot the passenger side. Guess what, after driving crosstown at 45 mph, I reached my destination, and a friend said, what are these things attached to your doors? They were still still attached.... Wow! I live in an apartment building and was frustrated with all the dings I was getting on my car doors. I ordered these and I am very satisfied The magnets are under the fabric so they don't scratch and they are plenty strong to adhere to the side of the car. Just make sure your car doors are metal. Try a refrigerator magnet on them first to make sure they will stick. They are easy to put on the car and a breeze to remove. As one reviewer wrote, it is a little tricky to get the center strap to stay inside the door when you close it. I have the best luck by placing the bumper guard on the back car door, and then with the front door partly ajar, I place it on that door, too. Then I put the strap between the door and the jamb and close it slowly, holding the strap in place. I am very pleased with these. They give me peace of mind.

These get the job done. They stick nicely without scratching the car. Theyre nicer looking than the pool noddles a neighbor has. BUT if you leave them on for long periods of time, they create a buildup of dirt, leaves, pollen etc that can be hard to wash off.

Works as advertised! Really good holding power. I originally purchased and used them on my VW ID.4 and they worked extremely well. The magnets stick so well the guards stayed on the whole trip to work. I now have a Tesla Model 3 Performance and though the doors are aluminum, I just used some safety pins to slight6 shorten the length of both pairs and they stick to the steel front wheel well (between top of front wheel and hood) and rear trunk area well enough. They still manage to survive accidentally leaving them on while I was on my way to work. Impressive!

These bumper guards do not magnetize against the door of my Ford F-250.

I use this every day with no issue. It's pretty light and the cushion is thick. I mainly bought it because my neighbor kept hitting my car, but it's been really useful for leaving the car in parking lots with some peace of mind. I kind of wish I got larger ones that cover the entire door but these work really well other wise, and they don't take up too much space when I toss them in the back seats

I am soon to get a new car, under accessories there was no option to buy side protection bars. We travel on ferries to Europe every year,& on board the car deck there is not much space between the cars & passengers with their luggage. I saw these HRX Car Door Protectors advertised,& after reading reviews I was convinced to purchase a set. They are very well padded & lightweight. The magnets are enclosed within the material, so I do not anticipate any damage or scratching to my vehicle.

This product works well and is well made. It’s just hard to secure it in between the doors. We are afraid it could chip our paint if not secured properly. It’s also a bit pricey. But does the job well! Hoping for one that has bigger pads for bigger cars because we drive an SUV and would like to secure more parts of the car.
