Brilliant! Love the clips and the slide lock feature on it. My little one was forever taking his arms out and trying to stand in his seat. Now I know he’s safe as he can’t do that with this. One happy mumma.

After looking at the mixed reviews we went ahead and got this , as it was cheap option and thought it was worth a go. I'm so glad we did it's been a game changer for sure! Our son has down syndrome and doesn't understand how dangerous it is to take his arms out of the seat straps but this keeps him from doing this. He seems very comfortable with it on and has tried on a few occasions to get it off but he can't 👍 as the reviews say it hasn't worked for everyone but I would say if this is a real problem for you then for the sake of a few quid give it a go as you never know.

We got an unpleasant surprise mid-journey where our child had managed to free their arms from their car seat shoulder straps by slipping their arms under the straps. They were still restrained by the central car seat lock, but their shoulders and arms were free. This resulted in a quick stop and buckling them up again. After the second time this happened we realised that our car seat shoulder straps needed something else to keep our little 'un from escaping. This is where these came in. They are very simple to install - the two halves clip over the car seat restraints - and then they simply snap together creating a restraint for the child at chest level making sure that the child stays restrained for the journey. The central snap has a locking mechanism to make sure it stays shut when little fingers try to undo it. I would say that they are extremely easy to use, and we have no indication that they are uncomfortable. The price mid-23 seems to be roughly the same as a double pack I ordered back in 2021 which is good. I guess the bigger question for me is why are restraints like these not mandatory (and included) for all new car seats, rather than having to buy an aftermarket solution. The only reason a product like this exists is because little'uns like ours are escaping from their shoulder restraints. Just like some backpacks have a small chest harness to stop the straps slipping, why can't car seats have this too?

Item works. The monkey bit isn’t essential, it doesn’t fit properly and falls off. He can take it off easily. It’s just not secure, so pointless.

Worked for about a week at most before one of the clips broke. Now both my children have learnt how to escape them anyway so take them off when I'm driving (their 1 and 2) which kind of defeats the objective of having them in the first place. I tried contacting the company to inform them that the product broke within a week but they never responded to me.

Ok so I'm just addressing the legal thing because I know people have freaked out and there is a very specific law. The easiest way to check if you can use this is to check your car seat. It's COVERED in labels and stickers. Somewhere, on one of those, you will find an R number. If your seat meets R129 regulations you're clear. Some non judgemental unsolicited mum advice? Don't remove labels from car seats. Don't buy them second hand. Don't add untested accessories. Blah Blah Blah scary death percentages. Blah Blah Blah laws that are rarely enforced. It boils down to this: If you have a 5point harness in your car seat you CAN NOT legally (or safely) use this. This will likely only be enforced if you were pulled over for speeding/drink driving as an extra offence. No policeman is looking in car windows for inappropriate buckles. My car seat meets R129. My daughter is an escape artist. I have to tighten this to the Nth degree and pull her straps super tight and STILL the little monster has managed to get out and stand up. Not really great when you're on a dual carriageway. It's illegal for her not to wear the belt. It's illegal for me to stop in the road. BOTH ARE DANGEROUS. And they're worried that if you have a 5 point harness it might be harder for you to get the child out of the seat in the event of a serious crash. Look up the law. Look up seatbelt knifey things, decide for yourself which risk bothers you most. But if you're R129 strap it on and don't worry, it's safe and legal. The cuddly face was great for the first 2 days. I have NO idea where it is now.

Perfetto, si installa in mezzo minuto ed è utilissima, davvero difficoltoso per il piccolo divincolarsi. Nelle bretelle del nostro seggiolino non scivola come contrariamente ho letto in altre recensioni. Questo modello con la fibbia centrale poi è intuitivo al massimo anche nel caso in cui dovesse utilizzarlo qualcuno che non ha dimistichezza con aggeggi di questo tipo.

A small piece of plastic came off that would definitely constitute a choking hazard. Thankfully my 10 month old didn't have a chance to get it into her mouth before we spotted it. Couldn't recommend.
