I did buy it for my Parrot Sally, but there was one extra ingredient so it wasn't pure Vitamin E. I got Vitamin E from a friend. It is supposed to heal and sooth the foot pad. It is important to check from time to time and to keep the feet clean because they use their feet to eat with. That is why I didn't want to use on her if it had another ingredient besides Vitamin E . I changed all her perches and sanded everything down, I also removed a piece of metal on her play top. Not sure if it was the sharp metal or not, but it is gone. Google Bumblefoot. It is found more among chickens. But any bird can get it. It is important to catch it right off, because it could cause an infection to spread in the blood and kill your bird.
