Well it is not like you can test the fire proofing if using it. So hopefully if it ever happens, it works. That aside it is fairly solid besides a slight brittleness to it when cut. Overall it appears to do the job. I used it under circuit breakers mounted to a buss bar incase they ever failed. Which even good ones can in rare cases. Better to be safe than sorry and have extensive damage or complete losses.

Once I have time, I will use the kiln paper to line the kiln I am building. All I can say is that it is true to size, it appears durable, but I haven't tried to cut it, and haven't tested it for insulation or heat retention.

Works great! However it does off gas a lot of fumes. I used a fan next to my kiln to keep the air moving around. Once the binding agent burns off then good to go. Was able to get 3 to 4 firings out of one sheet.

Works excellent for gaskets on my pellet stove. And way less expensive than ready made. Will buy again when I use them up in about 10 years.

Buyer beware. I have a Fuseworks kiln that I've been using for awhile. I've purchased small kiln paper on amazon without issue I got this to try kiln carving to do a small wall vase. Then I heard a pop and I peek in that the kiln paper was burnt and there was a strong chemical smell. I'm so disappointed. I shouldn't have trusted star rating and read the reviews.
