I take one capsule (the capsules are large) 1 hour before bed and by the time I get in bed I am so relaxed and fall asleep quickly. I also think the minerals prevent leg cramping (a nice added benefit). I haven’t had any morning grogginess either. If I stop taking it, I’ll notice I don’t sleep as well after a few weeks. I start back up and my sleep improves dramatically. It’s nice to take minerals that are good for you anyway. I’m not sure how I stumbled onto this product but I’ve been using it for some time,well before I began buying it thru my Amazon account. I was having problems sleeping for some time. Partly hormonal problems compounded by an extremely stressful job but I wanted something to support my sleep without having to take something prescribed by a doctor. I’m a nurse case manager working too many hours in a stressful area of medicine. Finding this product has been a God send. Having worked in trauma means I know what’s out there for patients to take and I really didn’t want that for myself. Anything else I tried may have worked but not for long. Finding something healthy that worked with my body naturally is truly the way to go. Directions state 1-2 capsules but over time I was able to use only one capsule. It’s been the way to go for me and I highly suggest this for anyone who wants to be able to get to sleep and then sleep for a good restful sleep. Absolutely no hangover type feelings when starting my day whether that was during day or night shifts. No stomach upset either. I highly recommend this to others. Unfortunately that bout ended a day or so before they showed up, so they sat there, still in the packaging, for perhaps two weeks or longer. After an email asking me what I thought of them (which made me remember that I even bought them in the first place!) showed up, I figured I might as well try them if for no other reason than to answer the email.I popped one of the giant liquid-gel caps as I sat on the couch watching a movie, more or less wide awake. It was getting a little late, so if they made me drowzy it wouldn't be a problem. That's when IT happened. And I'm not really sure what IT was. Here's a recap:I took the supplement, and went back to watching my movie. Next thing I knew my alarm was going off and I had to get up out of my bed for work. This is a true story. I seemed to have vague images in my head of getting up and eating a cookie or something. I may also have performed some sort of Manchurian-candidate type job for a third-world government or something, I'm not really sure. At this point anything is possible.I chalked up the experience to alien intervention or something, and continued taking the supplements for the next few days. After day number two they seemed to level out a bit, and I found myself sleeping like a baby for several nights in a row, but nothing weird. It may have been the supplements.
