I was shopping for humidifiers and decided to give this a try. At first, I was not charmed by its appearance. However, after using it for a while I realized it was a good fit for my bedroom. Compared to another humidifier I bought before this, its noise level is low. The one before has a sleek design which I enjoyed very much, but absolutely disliked the sound it makes especially after comparison to this one. (Issue with the fan I suspect) It is too late to return that one so I learned a lesson. At least it is good-looking...Along with this one I ordered another humidifier with a more established brand. (I learned my lesson and wanted to try out different humidifiers.) However, I made a silly mistake and I ordered the older version of that which doesn't have the top-filled function. (They all look almost identical in pictures and one gets dizzy after hours of shopping.) That one was really not handy for filling water. It needs to take out the spout piece, flip out the handle, and FLIP OVER the 6L tank to fill the water - I can see why the newer version now is top-filled. But it is over $100 on Amazon and it's over my budget.Nonetheless, one more feature that makes me decide to buy one more of these -- was its size. Compared to the other brand name humidifier, while they both hold 6L of water, this one takes up less space.As I said, it is probably not the most fashionable product, but I really found its functionality and practicality are overcoming its shortness. It is about 3 weeks from when I got the first one. I hope this piece will last.I also read that some people complained about its spout piece opening 180 degrees rather than other L-shape ones -- this issue also bothers me because I have limited space in the bedroom where I need it the most - I actually put two in my bedroom so I don't need to refill water every day or every other day. I cheated a bit after I got the second piece of this. Although it is not suggested by the product -- I set it on the lowest steam and taped one hole that faces the wall, so that I can still put it somewhere closer to the wall. Then the other hole sends out about the same amount of vapor as one hole at level 2.Both humidifiers are elevated from the floor. My first piece stays about 2 feet from two sides of the wall. My second piece stays almost next to it on a higher bench, closer to the wall. It can be really tricky to find space to put these in a compact bedroom, so its rectangular or towering design ended up actually being helpful.

For the first week, I loved it.And then I hated it. After the timer went off from only 3 hrs on low mist, it didn’t fully power down and had a steady stream leaking from a hole located under the body of the humidifier. It soaked EVERYTHING. I tried to press the power off and it wouldn’t turn off but instead gave off a high pitch whistle. I had to unplug it to turn it off. The leaking wouldn’t stop. I waited for all parts to fully dry before giving it another go. The leaking wouldn’t stop. I tried covering the hole with my finger (this hole is an intentional part of the humidifier), then the water started coming out of the vents at the base, and the leaking wouldn’t stop. This thing holds 6 liters at max, so every attempt is a lot of wasted water. I’ve tried Amazon’s troubleshooting to no avail. Now it just screams at me in a high pitch tone that slowly fades to a low scream when I power it off, and continues to leak. It leaks while it’s off.I wanted to love it. My son has breathing issues and it helped while it worked. But alas, now it doesn’t and my patience has run out. You are now being returned.

So after moving to a dry state like Nevada, I needed a good humidifier beside the bed. So I got this and it's been amazing. 6L is a lot of water, and depending on the setting, I've been using this over several nights. It even has a small essential oil dispenser tray in the back - and with warning, you only need to put in a few drops since it will disperse throughout the room extremely well. I've had it for over a month, and it's still great at pumping out mist. There is two holes where the mist comes out so that's a big plus. No more dry nose in the morning. Also, something to watch out for since this machine is very efficient, I once put it on high throughout the night and my humidity monitor went up as high as 50% in a small room. It has a modern look. I am considering to get a second one for someone else.

This humidifier works well. It's quiet, and puts out a nice stream of mist in two directions. It's fairly easy to clean and fill. The one problem I have is there is no way to set a desired humidity level. You can set it to put out different amounts of mist, and set it to shut off from 1 to 11 hours. But I thought you could set an actual humidity level like the other one I have. It's not a huge deal, but that function would have been nice. It does work well, and I would recommend it.

Finally a humidifier that is strong simple & works well. Looking forward to removing dry air in my home that dries out my eyes in the winter.

Controls are very small and difficult, took multiple attempts to turn off lights, increase or decrease humidity. Hard to fill up as you need a LARGE sink. Cannot fill in bathroom sink. Cord is VERY short! So unless you want it exactly where the outlet is you must use an extension cord. Cord felt very light weight. Humidity comes out of the top and just blows up. No ability to change the direction, except by turning the top a bit which as best I could tell did nothing. So it blew straight up. In the end returned it. My old one is easier to use with a much sturdier cord.
