the multi colors are helpful for family use
I purchased this item for my son, who uses chop sticks all the time. I happened to beak one of the ceramic pair he had, I accidently dropped it on the tile floor. He thinks these are perfect....he is an expert eating with chop sticks, I have not used them since I visited China, and ate with them. Now that we have several pair we will all be using them.

Heavy ceramic
Too heavy for novice users. Tires the hands. Found myself crying for a fork. Beautifully made tho! Just not for me.
