blissBody Butter, Grapefruit and Aloe 200 ml

This was my first Bliss product and I loved it. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue on the skin. The bumpy bits on my arms have gone down after a week of use. And the smell I'd zingy and uplifting.

There is an old adage 'that you get what you pay for' and it's certainly true in this case as Bliss Body Butter is rather expensive - but it's certainly worth the money.I have very dry skin on my legs as far down as my ankles and the skin feels leathery. After only three days of using this body butter, the difference is amazing. My skin is so much softer and the leathery feeling has almost gone; I know that with continued use my skin will be 'normal' again.I do not like the tropical design of the tube as I think it looks rather cheap. At this price range I'm sure something far more classy could have been achieved as I think it's a shame to hide this away in the bathroom cabinet.However, the contents are what this review is about; the body butter is fabulous so it has to be 5 stars!

This Bliss Body Butter comes in a colourful tube but considering its price it's surprising that it isn't boxed - the graphics on the tube do not do the sophistication/market position of this product justice as they look rather cheap and frivolous more akin to a value offering.Focusing on the contents things get a lot better as it feels a rich yet easily absorbed product albeit more runny than some body butters we've used. The grapefruit fragrance is very evident and rather pleasant as is the silky feel of aloe. In terms of quantity a little goes a long way and both the moisturising effect and the fragrance seem to last quite a while.Overall, this is a good product but the packaging doesn't do it or the Bliss brand any justice.Update: Since reviewing this Bliss Grapefruit and Aloe Body Butter I was surprised to see a pack containing the same size tube as the one I have reviewed (200ml) and another tube of Lemon and Sage Body Butter (200ml) for a lesser price than the single tube on this page. To be fair to Bliss it might be that this set is the remnant of a Christmas offer as the box looks Christmassy. Search Bliss Not Pout

This body butter comes in a flip cap tube and has a consistency somewhere between a normal butter and a lotion. It's therefore really easy to spread over the skin and a little goes quite a long way. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling soft and nourished. It has a lovely, summery, uplifting scent and you can really smell the grapefruit. However the scent doesn't last as long as I'd hoped on the skin - after a couple of hours I can't smell it any more.Overall this is a really nice body butter that takes care of your skin and smells good, but I can't see anything about it that justifies the really high price, apart from the brand name! It's not any better as far as I can tell than products that are a third of the price.

This doesn't have the sharp tangy smell that I associate with Grapefruit products. The combination with Aloe is not one that appeals to me. The cream is easy to apply and isn't at all heavy or greasy. It's a nice quality cream, but I wouldn't pay £22.

This is a really nice body butter - actually more like a lotion - but it's rich and moisturising. It goes on smoothly and really does have a long lasting effect on the skin.The packaging doesn't look high end and it certainly doesn't look like it should cost over £20. I would be a bit disappointed by the tube design if I'd paid full price for this cream.Having said that, its as moisturising as the cream I get from the chemist, which doesn't smell half as nice, so all in all it's worth a very good four stars and I might purchase it as a gift.

Really nice item only I think the price is a little demanding for what it is. Smell is lovely and it does leave the skin soft only problem I have is there are so many products out there at less of a price. Lovely for what it is, wonderful scent but price a bit rich.

For the high amount of money I was expecting something that at least looked a bit more expensive and special. It just came as it was - in the tube. The design on the front makes it look like a supermarket brand. However, the product itself is a lovely moisturiser and leaves your skin feeling really soft. It has a light fresh grapefruit fragrance that isn't overpowering.

La crema es muy agradable e hidratante, pero yo pensaba que era un tubo pequeñito y no, es un tubo grande (mucho más lógico para el cuerpo y además resulta mucho más rentable económicamente).

Got this while on a deal and really glad I did! It smells amazing and is nice and lightweight.

Love the Bliss product line. The fragrances are clean and fresh. Love how it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft. It really smooths out the rough skin on hands and feet.

It doesn’t moisturize as well as I’d like, but it smells sooo good.
