You can turn the flashing off though, or set it to static on.Quality wise, the build quality is cheap and cheerful, about on price point. The ear muffs fold up so it takes less space in your bag.I would describe them as 'on ear' headphones. They do block out quite a bit of outside noise, and as they are closed back they don't leak any annoying sound for other people to hear.I was quite impressed by the sound quality. I have compared them to my very expensive Bose cans and of course the Bose are better, but I've also compared them to several other budget priced headphones and I was pleasantly surprised by these. I wouldn't be happy with them myself, but my daughter is pleased.
