Clovelly Soap Co Natural Handmade Soap on a rope Bar (Bergamot and Lemongrass 100g) For All Skin Types 100g

I've got annoying hair - greasy on top, very dry at the ends, and an itchy scalp. I changed to shampoo bars a couple of months ago and although the one from Lush made my hair look really nice, my scalp would still itch. I made the switch to the Clovelly shampoo bar some weeks ago and here's how I'm finding it: - my scalp is not itchy anymore (yay!) - my hair looks lovely and shiny - it is not as frizzy anymore - it smells nice and fresh - it's not dry anymore - I don't need to use conditioner anymore - it takes a bit longer to dry (both naturally and with a hairdryer) I have to admit that I wasn't too fond of it initially. My hair felt quite greasy and heavy after a wash (despite following the vinegar rinse suggestion), but after three or four washes I really noticed a difference. I think it just took a little bit of time for the nasty chemicals to be washed out. I read some of the earlier reviews and I was in two minds whether or not to give it a try. I'm glad I did as it's a really nice shampoo bar. It's also slightly cheaper than other shampoo bars and it's quite big, so should go a long way. P.s.: I was curious and used it on my body; it works well, my skin feels soft and fresh. That's great to know if you are going travelling.

**Edited to say I have now used this shampoo soap and I LOVE it!! I usually use lots of conditioner in my hair because whem I don't it just goes really matted and horrible so I used the shampoo bar, followed by a very watered down ACV rinse (I watered it down because the smell was too strong) I then decided that I didnt like the smell of the ACV as it overpowered the shampoo bars beautiful smell so I used the shampoo bar a second time. I've actually been able to comb my hair! It hasn't got matted and smells gorgeous. I've got really long and thick hair so I was expecting to have to give it some time to get used to but first try and I'm super impressed. My hair has never felt so good! I've already recommended it to 2 other people and totally recommend you giving it a try! ** I haven't yet used this (I'm looking forward to trying it out tonight) but I am so pleased with the products so far. I got a lot more excited than someone should about soaps/shampoos when it arrived. The packaging of the item is eco friendly and absolutely adorable, the smell is beautiful and the item even arrived a day early which is awesome!! The only complaint I have is that the product was delivered in one of those bubble wrap envelopes.. if this could be changed to a more eco friendly packaging to fit with the company and the items packaging (maybe wrap the item in the thin tissue type paper and stick in a regular envelope) it would be perfect! I shall update once I've used the product! I'm really hoping it works well.

The scent of this bar is lovely and the presentation was simple and effective. Full marks for that! Unfortunately my hair isn't adapting to it very well, leaving it clumpy, thick and oily - but clovelly does highlight that this may happen during the transition process for some hair types. They provide suggestions too to assist such as apple cider vinegar rinses. I've been using it for a week now, and intend on persevering for another short while. I gave it a 4 star rating because the product, service and company appear to have a have a high standard, but unfortunately, at the moment I'm not having a pleasant experience moving away from the plastic bottles and liquid shampoos into the soap bar range!.. But here's hoping..

A great price for a good quality shampoo bar. I have been using shampoo bars for some time now. After 4 months my previous bar was making my scalp a bit oily. This one, with its mix of mint, lemon and eucalyptus have a nice cleansing feel on the scalp. When I opened the packet the eucalyptus smell was quite strong but after use the smell is pleasant and mild. I came wrapped in some very pretty paper, inside a paper bag. Unfortunately, this was then put inside a small bubble wrapped envelope. It is no reflection on the quality of the product inside but is relevant as the reduction in plastic use is the whole point of shampoo bars. Similar products that I have bought in the past have arrived undamaged in a cardboard wrapping. I would expect this bar to last about 6 weeks with daily use at my current rate, so it is really good value for money

This came beautifully packaged and smelt amazing. I used it for 1 week with the advised vinegar conditioner. The smell was great. It took a long long time to rinse. There wasn't a lot of lather but I tried different ways and got it working ok. My hair was ok. I used it for 2 more weeks and I didn't enjoy it. I couldn't rinse my hair enough, there was soap on my hairbrush and stain on the towel I wrapped my hair in. My hair started getting greasy and static / flyaway. It felt like I had been camping and gone to the beach. I was so disappointed as I really wanted to try and reduce my plastic use and this was a perfect way. Unfortunately it wasn't for me.

Lovely soap as a gift

Beautiful soap. Gorgeous smell. I would like more of them. I bought them as part of a Christmas present.

as i've been trying to cut down on my plastic use, i decided to give this shampoo bar a try seeing as i wasn't a fan of the ones from lush. i have to say i'm a little conflicted with this one as though it makes my scalp feel a lot healthier than before (less itchy, dry and cleaner) it does leave a weird waxy film that makes it pretty hard to manage. it's been about 2.5 months since buying this and i use it once to twice a week and the waxy feeling still hasn't gone away. it seems to get a little better with a acv rinse but not tons. it's a shame bc it's lasted me ages and the scent is pleasant

Ich habe diese Seife schon öfters bestellt, weil es die beste Seife ist, die ich je hatte. Aber jedes Mal, wenn ich diese Seife bestelle, soll ich eine Rezension schreiben. Einmal für gut befunden müsste doch reichen, oder?

Un jabón excelente, limpia muy bien, no reseca la piel y ademas huele de maravilla. Comprare uno de cada, me encanta!
